ANT Logística, a company of Transcoma Grupo Empresarial, has reinforced its presence in southern Spain with the acquisition of its warehouse in San Roque (Cádiz). Hamilton y Cía. oversaw the operations of the Constellation, one of the world’s most advanced offshore construction and pipe-laying vessels, during its recent call at the Port of Las Palmas.

Built in 2014 and operated by the Italian company Saipem, the Constellation stood out for its advanced technology, including a 3,000-ton crane and a state-of-the-art dynamic positioning system. With 178 meters in length, 48 meters in beam and capacity for 239 crew, the vessel is designed for ultra-deepwater pipe-laying, heavy lifting and subsea construction.

Unlike previous short calls limited to bunkering or crew changes, this stay was one of the most significant to date. Under Hamilton y Cía.’s coordination, the vessel carried out complex logistics and technical operations, including load tests with a 3,000-ton pontoon and the embarkation of heavy components previously delivered to the port. These activities represented a milestone for both the company and the Port of Las Palmas.

After completing its operations in Gran Canaria, the Constellation departed for Oceania, where Saipem is engaged in large-scale offshore projects such as the Scarborough gas pipeline and the Perdaman Urea Plant in Australia, as well as other developments in Australia and Guyana.

A few days ago, a report was published in Actualidad Económica, the economic magazine of El Mundo, which analyzes in detail the evolution and vision of Transcoma Grupo Empresarial. I am grateful for the opportunity to stop and put into words everything that one experiences from the inside.

Hamilton & Cía successfully leads the operation of the jack-up platform Noble Resolve in Vinaròs

Hamilton & Cía has successfully led the operation of unloading and towing operation of the jack-up platform Noble Resolve, transported on board a Dockwise vessel and transferred to the port of Vinaròs (Castellón). The operation had the technical and logistical support of Transcoma, resulting in an efficient and safe maneuver within the established deadlines.

As part of this collaboration, the transfer of more than 50 professionals from Barcelona was managed, including immigration procedures, boarding, and coordination with port authorities. Additionally, the contingency plan necessary to ensure the safe departure of the platform from the heavy-lift vessel (HLV) was developed and supervised.

This highly complex operation required meticulous planning and coordinated execution at every stage, reflecting Hamilton & Cía´s commitment to excellence in logistics and operational services in the offshore sector.
