Introduction

Sustainability is a broad term and its definition can be interpreted a multitude of ways. However we recommend that you use the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) (https://sdgs.un.org/goals) to guide your thinking and definition of Sustainability. As you will read below, two of the judging criteria include Exploration of the Problem and Fit with the Prompt. For the exploration of the problem criteria we expect hackers to present the problem coherently(presentation, etc), address relevant aspects such as current solutions or challenges, and then finally present their intuitive solution. As for the Fit with the Prompt section, judging will adhere to the UN SDG’s definition of Sustainability. Explore the problem thoroughly, such as existing solutions. Then, create your own solution to the problem indicated.
