And the winner is...
The judges have weighed in! Go to the Hack-the-map-2 gallery to congratulate the winners and check out all of the awesome submissions.
Even though the competition is over, you don't have to stop coding. Update your portfolio to inform your followers about new projects and get feedback from fellow hackers.
Also, there will be follow ups from the hackathon team and management to continue effort on some of the projects and figure out how we can share them with the Esri developer community. Please make sure your contact into is avilable with your project submission.

Communications & Participation
There are 3 ways to participate in the Hack the Map II hackathon:
1. Show up 9:00 AM PT at Redlands building M room M1 Triplex (next to library)
2. Slack: https://hackthemap.slack.com Join Slack https://join.slack.com/t/hackthemap/signup
3. Join Skype meeting https://meet.esri.com/jfoster/OHUCXJHJ it will run from 9:00 AM GMT Thursday until the judging completes Friday (expected judging starts at 2:00 PM PT and end by 4:00 PM PT) Note the timezones!

PRIZES!

The trophy goes to the overall winning team to hold for bragging rights for the year. We will engrave the panel with the team name.
The overall winning team can choose an Esri branded beer glass or a tumbler.
Hard-cover notebook and tote bag plus a t-shirt goes to the first place team in each of the 3 categories.

Event times updated
Please check rules and event schedule. Updates have been made to accommodate the teams participating from Europe. All teams will have the same amount of time to work on their projects. The teams from EU will start about 8 hours earlier but they will be required to complete their final project submission 8 hours ahead of US teams. However, the judging period will remain the same (2:00 PM PT) for all teams since we only have the judges at that time.
Please plan accordingly.
