Common Rules:

  • The event will last for a duration of  32 hours.

  • Any and all work created for the hackathon needs to be original and must be created during the duration of the hackathon. Participants are not permitted to reuse previously built software or designs.

  • A team can have at most 4 members. It is recommended to have 3-4 team members with complementing skill sets. In case you have fewer members or wish to go solo, you can do so. If you are unable to form a team you can reach out to the heads who will help you find a team.

  •   All teams have to make their submissions on Devpost. The submission should include a short 3-5 minutes video explaining about your product prototype (Product Development Track) or designs (Product Design Track). 

Product Development Track Rules:

  • You can use any programming language, frameworks or technologies for making your project in the hackathon.

  •  In case you are a novice in coding you may use no-code tools to build your prototype.

  • In case you have used the coding track, then you also have to submit the GitHub Repository Link of the project. 

Product Design Track Rules:

  • Cover major use cases and flows. Do mention edge cases that you encounter.

  • You can choose any platform – Android, iOS, or Web-Based.

  • Your designs need to be consistent with the design philosophies of the organization and should not break or intervene with the existing design.

  • The Video should focus on:

o   User Stories and Use Cases

o   Possible Approaches/iterations taken to reach the solution

o   The final flow, through UI and Interactions

  • Make appropriate assumptions but don’t forget to declare them.
