HackHPI2022 tries to make IT clean. Digitalization is currently responsible for 2 billion tons of CO2 emission, twice as high as global air traffic. But digital solutions are also crucial for tackling climate change. In the hackathon, we work on both finding IT solutions to tackle the problem of climate change, as well as reducing the environmental impact of IT products. 

For a weekend of hacking, we will bring motivated students from diffrent backrounds together at HPI, just outside of Berlin. By providing world class sponsors including workshops and access to their data and APIs, a great location and plenty of caffeine to fuel your brain we will create a space for creativity, inspiring ideas and a passion for trying out new things.
