Create a Doc

Upload a video and let AI automatically generate your Doc, load a template or import content from previous Docs, or start from scratch with powerful editing tools, combining AI features with all the standard formatting options you know and use.

To get started, hover over your Knowledge Base, click the + button, and select "Add Doc".

Edit with the Doc Editor

Use inline editing, headings, callouts, AI, and hyperlinks to structure your Docs with our Notion-like editor.

Tip: Use the inline editing toolbar by highlighting text in your Doc to access our AI rewriting tool.

Edit Knowledge Base articles using the Doc Editor, including formatting, adding links, videos, audio, FAQs, and more.

Add Snapshots

Capture screenshots or GIFs from your video articles and embed them directly in your Doc, no external tools needed. With InstantDocs, everything happens in one place.

Tip: Type /snapshot within a field to instantly capture a Snapshot from your video Doc.

Publish or Unpublish

Publish Docs to add them to your Knowledge Base, making them accessible to customers or to invited users only. Unpublish anytime to remove them.

NOTE: A Doc must be published before you can preview it on the Knowledge Base.

Templates

Templates let you save your Doc structures and quickly reuse them in new or existing docs. Create one by selecting Save as Template, then load it into a fresh or current doc when needed.

Tip: Name Templates clearly so your team knows when to use them.

NOTE: Loading a template will overwrite your current Doc structure, so apply it before adding new content.

Duplicate & Translate

Create copies of existing Docs or translate them into other languages to reach more users.

Tip: You can create copies of most content in your Knowledge Base, even the Knowledge Base itself! Be sure to hover of the content in the left-side panel, click the three dots, and explore the options available.
