Where can I find graduate jobs?

Some good starting points for searching for your graduate job include:

Remember to narrow down your search by course, location or keyword – or keep an open mind and explore everything! Searching for jobs can be overwhelming if you don’t know exactly what you are looking for – so try and approach your search methodically, exploring different industries and job-types one-by-one to get a feel for what you might be good at or enjoy.

Depending on the industry you want to go into, or specific location, there are a huge range of niche online job platforms and networking opportunities. We recommend that you do plenty of research into your preferred area, and make use of professional networking sites like LinkedIn to connect with others in the field you are interested in.

Some graduate-level opportunities aren’t advertised using traditional or easily accessible channels. This refers to something called the “hidden job market”. These roles are filled through referrals, networking or direct approaches to companies. That’s why it’s really important to get your thinking cap on and explore how you can maximise opportunities.

You can find out more by exploring the Graduate Jobs Guide on the Student Futures Portal.
