CLI support for true multi-target copy (single read, multiple destinations) in TeraCopy Pro / v4?
Hi Code Sector team, I’m building a fully automated ingest workflow on Windows (many removable media cards per day). The main bottleneck is source read speed (e.g., XQD ~400 MB/s). For us, true multi-target copy is a game changer: read the source once, write to two destinations (master + backup) within the same job, ideally with verification. In the GUI, the Target Tab supports multiple destinations using the | separator (e.g. D:\Job|E:\Job). But in the command line, the documentation only describes a single destination folder for Target, and when I try to pass D:\Job|E:\Job via CLI it does not behave as multi-target. Could you please clarify: Is true multi-target copying supported via CLI in TeraCopy Pro (or TeraCopy 4)? If yes: what is the exact CLI syntax / flags to specify multiple destinations (master + backup) in one operation? If CLI multi-target is not supported directly: is there an official automation-friendly approach, e.g. triggering a saved “Target Tab” / target set / profile, passing a job/queue definition file, or another supported interface, so we can start a single job that performs multi-target internally (single read, multi write), without manual UI steps? In TeraCopy 4: does the new queue system introduce any way to treat backup destinations as part of the same job (not a second copy pass)? Example use case: Source: X:\ (removable card) Destinations: D:\20260223_Project_K1_Karte_1 and E:\20260223_Project_K1_Karte_1 Requirement: single read from X:\, write to both D and E, with verification enabled. Thanks a lot—happy to test any beta/preview build or provide logs/command examples. Best regards,

Trying to verify that copied files checksum-match source files
I copied large number of files from one NAS to another using robocopy command. Several power outages happened during this process, so I wanted to verify that the target files match to the bit against the source files, and Gemini recommended TeraCopy - and I purchased it. So I set up the source path (let’s say \\A\B\C) then the target path (\\E\F\G\C), where the C folder on both NASes contain exactly the same set of folders and files. Then I say Verify (with the options set correctly), and yet when I run it, it always says “No Target File” for each file in the source folder. What am I doing wrong? When I am in the Browse for the T, I can see all the folders under “C”, but i don’t see any files. But this is also the case when I browse the Source yet TeraCopy can see all the files there. Finally, again upon Gemini advice, I tried to run the command line: This is on Windows 11. There I get a blue error pop-up box which says “This app can’t run on your PC (to find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher“ - and now the TeraCopy installation is messed up, and I have to reinstall it. I hope someone can help, thank you.

Pause icon color
The color of the pause icon should something else than blue - like yellow, as it blends with the hopped over icon (moved icon?) that is also blue. So that it is more accessible and easier to notice which ones are done and which ones are paused. (Marked as issue as this is accessibility issue in addition to being a feature change.)

little bug with the Transfers History
Hello! I noticed that on my multimonitor setup, the Transfers History menu shows up on the wrong screen, completely off. So, I have 3 screens, center being the main one, Teracopy window is on the left monitor. if I click on the Transfers History icon, the menu shows up on the third screen, on the opposite side of Teracopy. I assume there’s an issue with negative X and Y coordinates (left screen has negative coordinates compared to the center/main one) Hope there’s an easy fix for this Thank you!! All the best! :D

Teracopy get slow and hangs only with mapped drive but not when accessed directly with ip address.
Tested with teracopy pro 3.17 and 4.0rc2 Win11 23h2 22631.6199 on two diffrenct PC Server is running RHEL 9.7, samba-4.22.4-6.el9_7.x86_64, zfs-2.2.9-2.el9.x86_64 Windows expolorer works fine but teracopy hangs at every file copyed when copying more than dozens of files in one go, after cancelling teracopy will continue to hang for a few minutes at applying attributes. This only happends when samba is mapped on windows as a network drive, when using ip adress via explorer teracopy works as intended. Xattr is enabled on the ZFS pool, samba is set to vfs_streams_xattr

Make UI Clearer
When displaying the remaining amount of time that a process is going to take, I believe it would be easier for users to see the remaining time as the number of hours and minutes rather than as essentially a faction. For example, 1.5 hours would become 1 hour 30 minutes. This relates to the information displayed next to the “Target” directory area as highlighted in the attached screenshot below:

4.0RC2 Hangs while opening job histories with large number of files
When opening copy jobs that contain 1M+ files, Teracopy seems to hang in a ‘not responding’ state for an unpredictable amount of time, often more than 24 hours. If the app does return from the ‘not responding’ state, it will often return to that state after pressing the ‘copy’ button. Using procmon I determined that it’s working with the ‘history’ DB files in the user’s AppData\Roaming\TeraCopy\History …. the DB files are ~2.5GB per file. The physical server running teracopy is a 16 core/128GB server dedicated to TeraCopy. Am I hitting a limitation of the SQLlite databases? Is there a workaround?

Skipped Files Should be Removed from Available Space
Was recently copying an 18 GB folder from desktop to a 32 GB flash drive, which already had probably 15 GB used. Of the 18 GB to copy, 12 GB could be skipped because they were already on the flash drive, leaving about 4 GB to copy. Instead, copy wouldn’t start because “2.4 GB space needed” to complete the job, even though I selected Skip existing files. Feature Request: Please have TeraCopy remove skipped files from the space required for copy.

Auto folder generation from existing folder structure
Hello! I have 2 main gripes with direct folders, even though i use it daily. I’ll split these into 2 suggestions as they are quite unique So first one, I work with a lot of folders and files, I’m a CGI artist. I use a program called Post Haste to setup a folder structure for each project. Having to then set this up with Direct Folder is a massive chore. I also use 3 different machines and have to do it 3x (this is my second request). Anyways, it would be AWESOME, if I could point direct folders to a folder, and it automagically general the folder structure with sub-folders and folders for you. Additionally, if a new folder is added under the parent folder that you have pointed it to, it automatically adds that into the config. Thanks for your hard work on this!

Collision detection: ask me only if file hashes are different
I have quite a number of folders which have the exact same ‘name’, ‘path’ (except for their parent) and files have the same ‘size’. It would make my life easier if, during copy, TeraCopy would stop and ask me only for those files which have same name/path AND same size AND different hash. Key point: the different hash. This means that some files are corrupted or maybe a program changed something inside, but didn’t update ‘modified date’. (yes, there are such programs :( )

Set TeraCopy as default copy handler by PowerShell/Terminal command
At 1st, I knew about Settings and check box in Unattended. I knew how to enable this by GUI. But I’m creating automation script, so I wanna do it by command line in Windows. I also install your app from WinGet CLI. My expect is that there’s no more confirmation box like this, without using any mouse/click. Instead of making clunky AutoHotKey, I hope dev can tell me better solution. Appreciate your soft very much!

Imho probably the one of the best tools for verified copying I use. Would be wonderful to improve the report part customizing the data set displayed, the output format (adding a pdf option). Would be very nice also to have a mhl file for further verification with other softwares. And to be possible to decide to start one or two processes in the queue at the same time.
