Elegant hands. Cool sheets. Music performed for an audience of one. An effortless catch. A bare brown shoulder gleaming in the sun. Mango dripping past chin, onto fingers. Clean laundry. Infinity pools. Flash of recognition over obscure lyrics, or random quotation.

Foreign languages. Tango. Flamenco. Salsa. Waking up with no plans for the weekend. Strolling through a market in a new country. Lingering over brunch at a sidewalk café and writing postcards. Huge fluffy white towels in a sybaritic bathroom. Flying in at night and seeing sunrise in a place you’ve never been before.

... oh, and Battlestar Galactica, the reimagining! I never knew that my serial obsessions had a name (fandom) till I discovered BSG, and LiveJournal. Ah.
