Only a few news agencies still use IIM to exchange text news.<\/p>\n
But its stronghold in usage still is photography: since it has been adopted for adding metadata about images to Adobe Photoshop more than 10 years ago and as this technology has been implemented by many software vendors currently millions of photos\u00a0embed IIM fields\u00a0and several dozens of software programs support IIM.<\/p>\n
