mmm... the picture is lost ...? Then here you go

Hi Lucas, thanks a lot for living in my head and reading my thoughts, like "should I really?"
The good news: I'm determined to publish the first version of the companion by the end of march. Yes, this march. Proofreading is on the way and I'm trying hard to ignore my perfectionism.
So, thanks a lot for the encouragement!
I just added a blank PC sheet here and at the free aFoD resources. I hope you can put it to good use. If you need something else, please let me know.
The Character Keeper is a aFoD character sheet done using Google Sheet by the awesome Deliquescere. I think the term “character keeper” was coined by the Gauntlet community. You can find it here:

Hey! I'm not planning any public playtests at the moment. That's mainly because I'm jumping back and forth between different pages in a chaotic manner, so no part is really finished until the entire work is complete. However, I'm planning a few updates after the first version. Whenever I think of something else (or find any errors), I'll provide an update.
But thank you very much for the offer!
Hey! The Hardcover comes with a free pdf! Please contact me at [email protected] with a Proof of purchase and I'll send you the download link. Thanks!
Hi there and thanks for the question!
It depends a bit on the playstyle of your group. I would say the sweet spot is 1 GM + 3 or 4 players.
That said, my current campaign has only 2 players which are both willing to add a lot to the story and the world. We're having a great time but if you have a "classic" D&D-style group which is IMO more depending on the GM to present a story too few players may be a problem. You can compensate with cohorts but that's not everybody cup of tea.
Same is true on the other end of the spectrum if you have more than 4 players it may be too stressful for the GM or boring for the players when you play the "wait-til-its-your-turn"-style. If you have players who are fans of the other PCs, are invested into the story and are on the lookout for opportunities to mix storylines that is a great game, too.
Like: "ok, I'm out for revenge because a demon killed my brother. You think your mother is a witch working toward the end of the world. What about if the demon she is working with is also the killer? And is he also your father? Let's play to find out!"
Thanks for the watchful eye! Yes, that's true. The "old" version was build using LaTex for the text and PS Elements for the covers. My LaTex chops were not good enough to make it one document but with the seperation I was free to compress the covers less than the text. Looking at the downloads I see that not everybody bothered with downloading the covers, which is fine with me.
Now, the new version is one document using Affinity Publisher and which more pages and more art. To keep it at a downloadable size I had to compress more which makes the cover blurry.
So, I checked with my version of Wonderdraft (currently version 1.1.6, I skipped the Update to 1.1.8 just in case if this is your problem):
I created this directory
C:\Users\(user)\AppData\Roaming\Wonderdraft\assets\A Fistful of Darkness\sprites\symbols
I unzipped the files and put them there
--> subdirectories "aFoD Cliffs", "aFoD Landscape" etc.
NOTE: I did not edit any metafiles, I just placed the files there and that's it.
I started Wonderdraft, created a new map (theme black/white).
I selected "symbols", selected "aF oD Settlement Town" and placed some icons on the map.
I exported Image=Normal, Format=PNG (unselected Export Trace Image).
Result: everything's ok. Another export with Format=JPG was also fine.
What's different on your side?
