Ahh, when I try to download it normally, instead of using the Itch app, It gives me a warning.  Any idea what's going on here?

Oh, huh -- I'm using the Itch windows app, with the built in updater in that... it's the same way I  originally installed the game and have installed all the previous updates.  I wonder what's different this time?

Windows.  If I click through to the "Details for Nerds", I see this:

When I try to update, I get an error message that says "An error occurred during installation No manager for installer unknown"

Any idea what's going on?

Heya, Thank you for replying!  Yeah, I played it all the way through, even through the end credits, and the end-of-game save file (ch7_end_game-LT1.save) DID get created in the game/saves directory, as expected.  It's just that choices export file that's nowhere to be found!  

I tried searching my entire C: drive for a "ch7end.loml.naughtyroad", but nothing shows up at all.  

Loved the game!  I was able to find the final save file no problem, but there's no ch7end.loml.naughtyroad file in the directory you mentioned... Anywhere else I can look?  I'm on Windows 11.  

Hmm... where do Itch's save games live?  I still have my old laptop, so I can definitely take a look and see if they got copied over or not!

A few days ago I moved from a windows 10 laptop to a new windows 11 laptop.  I used a migration tool (Laplink PC Mover)... all my steam games work fine, but for some reason Itch is saying the install location (c:\users\[username]\appdata\roaming\itch\apps) doesn't exist... but, it definitely does.   
If I manually go to the game directory in that location, I can start up the games via the .exe files... But when I open them that way, all my save games are gone.  

Any idea how I fix this?

Ahh, excellent, thanks!  For some reason it won't let me download/install it within the Itch.io app, but I can download it and install it separately.

For some reason the Mute the Hero's Voice option doesn't seem to be working for me.  Is there some sort of trick to get him to STFU?
