Hi, I'm Joanne! I'm a software engineer with a dual background in CS and Math from the University of Florida. I enjoy work that sits at the intersection of them - simulation systems, computer vision research, anything math-heavy.
Currently I'm at Valkyrie Enterprises working on a large-scale simulation engine. Previously I've worked on embedded software for ovens at GE Appliances as a co-op and ETL infrastructure at Bank of America, and co-authored a deep learning manuscript on cancer detection at UF.
I build with React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and C++. Outside of work, I like to go on hikes and explore cooking/baking.
