Deliveries helps you keep track of all your packages, so you always know when they’re going to arrive. Whether it’s the latest gadget you’ve preordered online, or a new graphic novel you can’t wait to dive into, Deliveries will keep tabs on it so you don’t miss the doorbell.

The main list shows a summary of all your shipments and counts down the days. Select a delivery for more information, and see where it is on a map. If you like you can view the shipping company’s web page, or easily share your shipment over email, iMessage, or AirDrop. Deliveries can even add estimated delivery dates to your calendar, and a Notification Center widget lets you quickly check your packages without opening the app. All your old deliveries are archived so you can look them up again if you need to.

Deliveries supports dozens of services, including US Postal Service, DHL, TNT, Canada Post, DPD, and many more. You can also track orders from services like Amazon and Apple, even before they ship. (Some services are limited to specific countries—visit junecloud.com/services for details.) If you have packages from other services, just select “Other” and enter a delivery date and web site—so you can check on them when you need to and still keep everything in one place.

Deliveries is also available for Mac. You can sync your deliveries between devices with iCloud or our own Junecloud sync. If you create a Junecloud account, you can add new shipments from any web browser.

Deliveries is available in English, German (translated by Jennifer Brehm), Japanese (Nobtaka Nukui and Justin McPeak), and French (Applingua).

You can now translate tracking information from another language. Tap the “…” icon, then “Translate.” Requires a download the first time each language is translated. Translations are done locally on your device. iOS 18 or later is required.
You can now add Deliveries to Control Center. Buttons are available to open Deliveries, add a delivery, or open the barcode scanner. iOS 18 or later is required.
App Shortcuts are now available automatically, so you can ask Siri to “Check my Deliveries” without any setup. Tap the gear icon and then “Siri Shortcuts” to see all the available options. Requires iOS 17 or later.
Shortcuts on iOS 17 or later are much faster and have a number of minor improvements.

UPS tracking information is no longer available in the app. You can now manually enter a delivery date for UPS shipments, and you’ll get a notification on the delivery date at 9AM as a reminder. Search has been redesigned to work in a more standard way.
The Add Delivery view has been improved, so you can see more of the text, and it’s easier to review your choices.
The iPad layout has been refreshed, with a consistent sidebar button in the upper-left corner, and a swipe gesture to reveal the sidebar. The settings button has been moved to accommodate this change.
Keyboard navigation is significantly improved on iPad.
Drag and drop has been improved. For example, you can now drag a delivery into the Files app to create a deliveries file.
Settings views are no longer dismissed automatically after changing them (for example the sort view).
Signing in to Junecloud is easier if your account is saved in iCloud Keychain.
Improved performance when iCloud is temporarily unavailable. Previously this could reset iCloud sync, which can be a slow process with a lot of data. Now it will no longer reset unless you turn off iCloud sync or the database is reset.
Fixed an issue where a background update or extension update might stop before all the work was complete. This was especially noticeable in the “Add to Deliveries” extension—it would fail to update and sync the delivery you just added.
Improved the appearance of map routes in cases where a package goes back and forth between two locations.

Improved date parsing for Amazon. Overnight deliveries should show the correct dates now.

Worked around an issue where iOS would ask to save your Junecloud password to the keychain even if you had tapped cancel, or the password was incorrect. This bug also caused two different prompts when signing in successfully. Now you should only be prompted to save a valid password, after a successful sign in.
Fixed an issue where the app didn’t update immediately after turning on iCloud or Junecloud sync.
Fixed issues with password autofill when importing from a site or signing in to a service.

Apple Watch:

Complications have an improved design on watchOS 9 or later.
You can now select a specific delivery for watch face complications on watchOS 9 or later. You can even show different deliveries in different complication slots, or on different watch faces.

Fixed a bug where calendar events may not have updated after a delivery date changed to an earlier date.
Fixed a bug where map routes might have displayed in the wrong color.

New in version 9.4:

Updated for iOS 16 and the latest devices.
Lock Screen widgets are now available on iOS 16. Your next expected delivery is shown by default. When you’re editing your Lock Screen widgets, you can tap on a Deliveries widget you’ve added to change which delivery is shown.
You can now manually enter a delivery date for shipments from services we are no longer able to support. These shipments can also be manually marked as delivered.
Deliveries will now show a notification on the day they’re expected, including shipments with a manually entered date. This notification will be delivered at 9AM, unless there was already a notification earlier that morning.
Improved clipboard detection on iOS 16. If Deliveries frequently asks for permission to access to paste from other apps, make sure you have iOS 16.1 or later installed. Tap the gear icon, tap “Clipboard Detection”, then tap “Open Settings”. Then tap “Paste from Other Apps” and select “Allow”.
The online view is now shown as an overlay you can swipe down to dismiss. This makes it faster to return to the app if you’ve opened any links on the site.
Added support for scanning Codabar barcodes, which are often used by FedEx and Yamato, for example. This feature requires iOS 15.4 or later.
Improved performance of the barcode scanner, particularly on older devices.
If you use Mail to Deliveries, you can now review messages that were recently forwarded to your account. Visit junecloud.com/sync, sign in, tap the gear icon to open the settings, then choose “review recent messages”.
If you’re signed into a Junecloud account, there’s now an option to delete your account in the sync settings.
Fixed issues with creating an account in the app.
Fixed issues with item name detection when importing from Amazon.
Fixed an issue where some characters, like a closing parenthesis, were unintentionally removed from the end of the item name.
Fixed a bug where certain characters (like tabs) in the item name would cause an unexpected “fill out all required fields” error. Characters that aren’t allowed are now replaced with spaces.
Fixed a bug with iCloud sync that could result in delivery settings unexpectedly reappearing, particularly dates.
Fixed a bug where map routes might be the wrong color.
Made an adjustment to how data syncs in to the app, so it’s less likely to cause issues with future versions when a service is added or changed.

Apple Watch:

Updated for watchOS 9 and the latest devices.
The large rectangular complication has an improved design that includes the current status of your package, just like our new Lock Screen widget for iPhone.
Placeholders and deliveries from unsupported services can now be marked as delivered on Apple Watch.

Sharing a single delivery via Messages is greatly improved. You now get a perfectly formatted link with the name of the delivery. If there’s a location, the link preview will show the map. If there’s no location, it will show the Deliveries icon.
Sharing via AirDrop now sends a link instead of a file, so it’s easier to share with someone that doesn’t have the app.
Sharing multiple deliveries now shows an accurate preview with a file icon and the number of deliveries being shared. It works more consistently and just shares a file in most cases. It also works with more services—for example you can now save to Notes.
Notifications that a package has been delivered are now marked as Time Sensitive on iOS 15.
When you use “Hey Siri, share this” or the “Add Link” button in Quick Notes, it will now use a link to share.deliveries.app. This allows those links to open in Deliveries, so they’re better for sharing and you can use them to check on your own shipments.
Improved keyboard shortcuts and navigation on iPadOS 15.
The “…” button now uses a standard menu on iOS 14 or later.
The “…” menu now always shows a “Sign In” option for Amazon orders, in case you need it.
You can now search for Apple orders using a tracking number for an individual shipment in that order.
Improved how clipboard detection is handled the first time the app is opened.
Improved validation of tracking numbers. For example there were certain cases where as USPS number with spaces would give an error instead of automatically removing them.

Fixed a bug where some data was not saved correctly, which could result in missing data after archiving a delivery on Apple Watch.

Fixed an issue where the app might get stuck “updating” if it was unable to upgrade the database from an older version. In most cases the app is now able to upgrade the database. If it is still unable to, the problem is now handled automatically, and a new, empty database is created.
Improved the upgrade process to minimize freezes or crashes when handling a large database.
Fixed a crash that could happen if Handoff was used before the app had a chance to upgrade its database.
Fixed an issue that prevented suggestions from showing on the Add Delivery screen.
Fixed an issue where the app might needlessly download an older service update than the one included with the app.
Fixed an issue where parts of the app’s update process (like refreshing deliveries or syncing) might not work if the startup process was interrupted. This situation is now handled automatically.

New in version 9.2:

This is a significant update, though many of the improvements are behind the scenes. There are a large number of improvements to reliability and performance, and many smaller changes to make Deliveries easier to use.

Sharing a delivery now includes a link to deliveries.app that makes it easy for the recipient to add the item to Deliveries or view the tracking page online. If you use a “copy” action you’ll get the same info as before, with a link directly to the carrier’s tracking page.
The barcode scanner can now detect tracking numbers in text. It’s also faster and better at ignoring unwanted barcodes.
DHL shipments are now updated through deliveries.app for improved reliability and efficiency. For more about this change, visit juncld.com/e3FC
“DHL Express” is now labeled “DHL”, and supports most DHL shipments. “DHL GlobalMail” is now labeled “DHL eCommerce”.
Improved suggestions when adding a new delivery.
Improved how the Add Delivery screen shows deliveries detected on the clipboard. This simplifies the options available and allows you to dismiss the clipboard suggestions if that’s not what you wanted.
If there are multiple tracking numbers on the clipboard, Deliveries can detect all of them.
Improved how items with multiple packages refresh. For example if you have an order with one package that was already delivered, that shipment is no longer refreshed along with the others.
Maps for deliveries with multiple packages now emphasize the selected package. Maps in notifications focus on the route that’s relevant to the notification.
Map views are more efficient, and better at handling errors looking up locations. They’re less likely to animate unexpectedly while you’re adjusting the view, and they look a bit nicer too.
Creating a placeholder with the current date no longer automatically marks it as delivered. You can use the “Mark Delivered” button afterward if necessary.
Improved how parts of the app communicate with each other, for more immediate updates.
Improved syncing reliability.
Improvements for signing in to third-party services.
Item name suggestions are now ordered by when they were last used.
Fixed an issue where choosing an “edit an existing delivery” option on the Add Delivery screen might leave that item archived after saving. Now this will always show a “Restore” button. You can still edit the name of an existing delivery without restoring it if you use the search field to find it, open the “…” menu, and choose “Edit”.
Improved how the subscription view shows previous purchases.
Improved tracking number detection for Chronopost, DHL, La Poste, and UPS.

Improved the appearance of the widget in situations with limited information.
Calendar events include the tracking number and link, and titles are limited to 64 characters.

Fixed an unexpected error if you used certain characters in the Item Name field, like the chef emoji.

Apple Watch:

The Apple Watch app has been completely rewritten, with many small improvements.
Improved syncing reliability.
If iCloud sync is enabled, and you have another device with Deliveries installed, the Apple Watch app can show notifications even when your iPhone is unavailable.
The largest text size setting now uses an alternate layout for improved accessibility.
The complication for the Extra Large watch face is improved on Apple Watch Series 4 or later. It now uses a “gauge” style that includes a circular progress meter.
Note: maps on Apple Watch now require watchOS 7 or later.

New in version 9.1.2:

Fixed an issue where those who previously purchased Deliveries may have been asked to subscribe when trying to add a new delivery.
Improved subscription verification.
If you’re using Junecloud sync and your subscription expires, the subscription screen may appear when you launch the app. If you turn off Junecloud sync this will no longer appear.
The barcode scanner now has lines marking the center of the area, which can help with scanning longer barcodes.
Fixed an issue where copying a delivery included the link twice.
Adjusted how often some deliveries refresh. This mainly affects deliveries that haven’t changed in a while. For example if a delivery doesn’t have a date and hasn’t changed in over a week, it will update less often.

Fixed an issue where iCloud sync did not work correctly for some people, particularly those who recently used the app for the first time.
Fixed an issue where some UPS tracking numbers could not be added, with an incorrect message that the number was not valid.
The “Restore Purchases” button is now shown on the Subscription screen if you have a complimentary subscription. This will refresh the expiration date if the incorrect date is shown.
The “Name” field when filling out the contact form or registering for a Junecloud account now has an option to enter your name with one tap, and has better autocorrect and capitalization behavior.

A fresh look: We’ve touched up every detail to make it easier to keep track of your shipments. Dark mode is included, and support for all text sizes is improved.
Subscriptions: Try Deliveries for a month to see if it works for you, or subscribe yearly for a significant discount. One subscription gives you access to Deliveries on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. If you previously purchased the app, you’ll still get most features for no extra charge. Tracking history: For most services, the full history is shown in the app, and it’s archived with the delivery if you ever need to look it up.
Easier to add deliveries: It’s faster to add new shipments, with improved suggestions, and an “import” option to add multiple shipments from popular sites.
Drag and drop: Rest your finger then drag to reorder deliveries. On iPad, drop emails, links, or text onto the app to add shipments. You can also drag deliveries to other apps, like Files or Safari.
Multiple selection: Tap and drag with two fingers to select, then archive or share several items at once. You can also use the select button to select items one at a time. If you accidentally delete something, swipe left with three fingers to undo, shake your device, or press ⌘Z on an external keyboard.
Sync: Both iCloud and Junecloud are faster and more reliable. You can also use both, for the benefits of iCloud without missing out on Junecloud features like “Mail to Deliveries” and web access.
Export: Save a complete backup of your active and archived items. Tap the gear icon, tap “Manage Your Data”, then “Export Deliveries”. You’ll get a single file with everything, so it’s easy to share or re-import later.
Placeholders: Previously labeled “Other”, placeholders now include buttons to quickly edit them or mark them as delivered.
Dates: The year is now shown for dates further away. On the details screen, tap on a countdown like “delivered in 5 days” to see the actual date.
Item name suggestions: Type a few letters and Deliveries will suggest previous item names.
Help with mistakes: As you enter information, small mistakes like extra spaces are cleaned up automatically. If you try to save a delivery with an invalid tracking number, the app will let you know, so you can fix the typo or choose a different service.
Archived items: They’re no longer dimmed out, so they’re easier to read. You can also edit item names without restoring.
Source details: Deliveries added through email or Safari now include information about where they came from. Tap to open the email or web page.
Sorting: Your manual sort order now syncs with iCloud.
Siri Shortcuts: The “check on a delivery” shortcut can now be used conversationally to check any of your active deliveries. In the Shortcuts app, the “Add a Delivery” action now accepts input, and most actions output information about your packages.
Improved keyboard support: Use the arrow keys to select a delivery, or to select a suggestion when adding a new delivery.
Quick Look: Exported files can be previewed in Spotlight or the Files app.
Clipboard detection: Like before, Deliveries can automatically detect tracking numbers on your clipboard so you can add them easily. If you prefer, there is now an option to turn this feature off.
The “Add to Deliveries” extension has moved—look for the color icon in the Share sheet.
Data Matrix barcodes are now supported. These are sometimes used for Amazon return codes, for example.

The Siri shortcut “check my deliveries” now includes a summary of your deliveries as well as your next delivery date, so it’s more useful on Apple Watch, HomePod, and in other situations. (The suggested phrase was previously “show my deliveries”—of course you can use any phrase you like.)
Siri responses are now shown with the same colors used in the app.
Siri Shortcuts are now available in German and Japanese.
Improved Siri responses when you do not have any deliveries.
You will no longer get Siri suggestions for deliveries that have been archived or deleted.

The “background notifications” setting is now disabled if Deliveries does not have permission to display notifications. This permission can only be changed in the Settings app, so you will see a message telling you how to change it.

Some incorrect suggestions will no longer appear, and better results appear higher in the list. You’ll also always see an “Other” option at the end if you’re adding a URL that Deliveries doesn’t recognize.
Entering an Amazon Logistics tracking number will now show “Amazon - by tracking link” as a suggestion. It’s not possible to track these shipments using the number alone, so you’ll need to paste in the address of the “Track Package” page.

Notifications:

Today widget:

The Today widget shows a single delivery by default, with a “Show More” button to reveal as many as possible.

Improved suggestions when you add a delivery.
Swipe a suggestion on the Add Delivery screen to hide it. Hidden services will no longer show as suggestions unless that’s the best guess we have. You can always find hidden services by choosing “More Options”, selecting “From”, and then “Show All Services”.
The “Add to Deliveries” extension now syncs and updates immediately.
The “Add to Deliveries” extension automatically fills in item names for “Amazon - by tracking link” deliveries. Just go to Amazon’s “Your Orders” page in Safari, tap the Share button, and choose “Add to Deliveries”.

On iPhone 7 you’ll now get subtle haptic feedback for various actions.
The refresh status of a delivery is now shown on the right side of each delivery in the list, so the progress indicator is less obtrusive. When Deliveries is unable to update the status, you’ll see an alert icon. For an Amazon delivery, this often means that you need to sign in.
Improvements to Amazon sign in. If you still have problems, please visit juncld.com/e3D8 for new troubleshooting options.
If a delivered item can no longer be found online, Deliveries will keep the last known details instead of showing a “not found” error. We do still recommend you archive deliveries that no longer need to be refreshed.
If you restore an archived delivery that’s no longer available online, it will continue to show the last known details, so you don’t lose any information.

If you search for deliveries in Spotlight, you’ll see a “Search in App” button so you can see more results in the app.

Updated the Amazon sign in process. Instead of entering your password in the settings, you’ll now see a “sign in required” button when Amazon needs you to sign in again. When you add deliveries by order number, we recommend only adding deliveries from one Amazon account at a time.
Added an option to look up Amazon shipments using a tracking link, without having to sign in. Just paste the address of a “Track Package” page or email link, or use the “Add to Deliveries” extension, and Deliveries will show a new “Amazon – by tracking link” option. Tracking a shipment this way won’t show information about other shipments in the order, and some orders can’t be tracked this way.
The “Add to Deliveries” extension now includes more choices. If there are multiple tracking numbers or order numbers on the page, you can now choose which one to use.

Redesigned clipboard detection: we know many of you thought the previous change was a step back. This new design is as obvious and easy to use as the original alert, but faster to dismiss when it’s incorrect.
Smarter guesses: In many cases you’ll now get better shipping company suggestions when you paste in a tracking number or URL. In particular, EMS numbers will now show additional options where you may be able to track your shipment. You should also see fewer incorrect guesses.
Defaults: When the app is installed for the first time, it now selects some default favorite services based on your region.

It also includes archived and deleted items, so your archive should match across devices. (When syncing the first time, only the past 30 days will be included.)
Siri reminders: open a delivery, activate Siri, and say something like “remind me about this when I leave from work”. You’ll get a reminder that includes the item name and a shortcut to the delivery.
Keyboard shortcuts: on an iPad with an external keyboard, hold down the command key to see a list of possible shortcuts.
More ways to add deliveries: select text in another app (like Mail or Safari), then tap “Share…” to add to Deliveries. Don’t worry about selecting just the tracking number, it should find it if you select too much.
Spotlight Search: on your home screen, pull down or swipe to the right to find deliveries by item name, shipping company, and more.
Better clipboard detection: tap the + button and you’ll see suggestions based on your clipboard there. Same number of taps when it’s right, zero extra taps when it’s wrong. The URL detection has also been improved to recognize many new links.
A fresh look: the new system font is now used throughout, and an adjusted detail view focuses more on the information you care about.
Print or save a PDF: just tap Share and choose either, along with all our other sharing options.
“View details online” uses the new Safari view controller on iOS 9.
For a delivery with multiple packages, you can now tap the “1 of 2” badge in the list to show the next package.
The “Add to Deliveries” extension will no longer create duplicates.
The Today widget now makes it clear when there are more deliveries to show in the app, and displays a warning icon if it hasn’t been able to update in the background.
The badge number on the icon should now roughly match the number of deliveries that have changed, instead of just increasing for each notification. If you archive a delivery from a notification, the Watch app, or on another device, the number will decrease.
If a delivery changes after it’s delivered, and it’s still showing as delivered, it will no longer trigger a notification. These changes are rarely of interest.

Apple Watch: now includes an app, Glance, and notification support for Apple Watch.
Handoff: if you’re viewing or editing a delivery and you want to switch to another device, you can now use Handoff to take you straight there.
Sharing: you can now share a snapshot of your delivery, which is fun if you want to tweet about how that pre-order you’re so excited about just shipped. It tries to leave out stuff you probably don’t want to share, like the tracking number and your current location. The email sharing template has also been improved.
Search: you can now filter your search results by Archived, Active, or All. This gives you an easy way to browse all your archived deliveries—just choose All or Archived without entering any search text. You can also search by delivery date, using the format YYYY-MM-DD. That means you can search for a specific day (“2015-04-24”), a whole month, (“2015-04”), or an entire year (“2015”).
Multiple packages: deliveries with multiple packages have a new look, to make it more clear what the numbers mean, and which package is currently selected. In the details view, you can now tap anywhere in the text for a package to select that package. Changing the selected package will now highlight its location on the map. Plus when you double-tap to change the selected shipment in the Today widget it will now update in the main app.

Notification Center: Deliveries now includes a Today widget so you can check on your deliveries right in Notification Center. When you get a notification you can also swipe to the left to archive it without having to open the app.
Add deliveries faster: just enter the information you have and we’ll give you a list of options. There’s also a nice big button to open the barcode scanner, and it supports more barcode types than before. Best of all, there’s a new “Add to Deliveries” extension for Safari, so you can add new deliveries with just a couple of taps.
A fresh look: we’ve refined the design to look even more at home on iOS 8, and to match our new app for OS X Yosemite. The layout also does a better job of adjusting to perfectly fit your screen. That includes support for iPhone 6 and 6 Plus—even a great new landscape view on both of them.
Dynamic type: Deliveries will now show larger or smaller text based on your settings.
Fewer password hassles: if you have a junecloud.com password saved in Safari, the app will now ask if you’d like to use that when you install it for the first time. If you create an account in the app, your password is saved to your iCloud Keychain so you can log into the site quickly on your Mac. You can also use 1Password’s iOS 8 extension to fill in passwords faster than ever.
Automatic favorite services: they’re now selected for you as you use them. If one shows up that you don’t need to see anymore, just swipe it and tap to hide it.
A new name: I know what you’re thinking. “It’s still called Deliveries! It says right there on the app!” Well, that actually wasn’t the name before. But it is now. Don’t worry about it.
So many little things: Improved iCloud support, especially with accounts that have iCloud Drive enabled. We made a bunch of things more efficient. Settings screens have helpful text and links to the Settings app where it’s appropriate. You can select and copy any of the text on the detail screen. Better “Last Updated” sorting. The online view gives you access to sharing options. Honestly, we rebuilt the whole thing from the ground up, and we worked so hard improving things that we forgot to write them all down.
Note: iOS 8 is now required.

Deliveries is also available for iOS, in a single app that supports iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. You can sync your deliveries between devices with iCloud or our own Junecloud sync. If you create a Junecloud account, you can add new shipments from any web browser.

Important Note

Deliveries 9 for Mac is a separate app from our previous Mac app. This was a necessary change due to Apple’s requirements for sharing purchases between iOS and Mac. If you currently have Deliveries 3 installed, you’ll want to delete it and download Deliveries 9. If you want to re-download Deliveries 3 for any reason, open the App Store app, click your name in the bottom left corner, and find it in your Purchased list.

Search has been redesigned to work in a more standard way.
The Add Delivery view has been improved, so you can see more of the text, and it’s easier to review your choices.

The window-sizing behavior has been improved when choosing “Zoom” from the Window menu or option-clicking the green window button. It should give more consistent results that more closely match the size of the content.
Fixed a bug where some notifications would play a sound, but not appear.
Fixed a bug where Deliveries Express did not always restart after installing an update, which could cause unexpected behavior.
In the future when Deliveries Express needs to restart, it will no longer launch the main app. In most cases it will restart automatically, and you won’t even notice it. If you open the menu bar icon immediately after installing an update, you may see an alert letting you know that a restart is needed. Note: this improvement only affects future updates.
Signing in to Junecloud is easier if your account is saved in iCloud Keychain.
Improved performance when iCloud is temporarily unavailable. Previously this could reset iCloud sync, which can be a slow process with a lot of data. Now it will no longer reset unless you turn off iCloud sync or the database is reset.
Fixed an issue where a background update or extension update might stop before all the work was complete. This was especially noticeable in the “Add to Deliveries” extension—it would fail to update and sync the delivery you just added.

Fixed an issue where the app might get stuck “updating” if it was unable to upgrade the database from an older version. In most cases the app is now able to upgrade the database. If it is still unable to, the problem is now handled automatically, and a new, empty database is created.

Improved suggestions when adding a new delivery.
Improved how the Add Delivery screen shows deliveries detected on the clipboard. This simplifies the number of options available at once and allows you to dismiss the clipboard suggestions if that’s not what you wanted.
If there are multiple tracking numbers on the clipboard, Deliveries can detect all of them.
Improved how items with multiple packages refresh. For example if you have an order with one package that was already delivered, that shipment is no longer refreshed along with the others.
Maps for deliveries with multiple packages now emphasize the selected package. Maps in notifications focus on the route that’s relevant to the notification.
Map views are more efficient, and better at handling errors looking up locations. They’re less likely to animate unexpectedly while you’re adjusting the view, and they look a bit nicer too.
Creating a placeholder with the current date no longer automatically marks it as delivered. You can use the “Mark Delivered” button afterward if necessary.

Item name suggestions: Type a few letters and Deliveries will suggest previous item names.
Help with mistakes: As you enter information, small mistakes like extra spaces are cleaned up automatically. If you try to save a delivery with an invalid tracking number, the app will let you know, so you can fix the typo or choose a different service.

Internet Access Policy: Apps like Little Snitch can now explain what each connection is used for.
You didn’t miss versions 4 through 8—we bumped up the number to match Deliveries 9 for iOS. This should make it easier to tell which versions match up.
On macOS Catalina or later, passwords and session data are saved so all parts of the app can access them. If you occasionally see prompts for keychain access, you’ll see fewer requests over time, and eventually you won’t see them at all.

Some incorrect suggestions will no longer appear, and better results appear higher in the list. You’ll also always see an “Other” option at the end if you’re adding a URL that Deliveries doesn’t recognize.
Entering an Amazon Logistics tracking number will now show “Amazon - by tracking link” as a suggestion. It’s not possible to track these shipments using the number alone, so you’ll need to paste in the address of the “Track Package” page.

Deliveries Express:

The background app that handles notifications and the menu bar icon is now called Deliveries Express.
View your deliveries directly from the menu bar icon, if you have it enabled.

Touch Bar:

Touch Bar support for the new MacBook Pro. This includes various buttons for the main window you can customize, shipping company suggestions when you add a delivery, auto-complete for email addresses, a 1Password button when it’s appropriate, and more.

Adding deliveries:

Improved suggestions when you add a delivery.
Right-click a suggestion on the Add Delivery screen to hide it. Hidden services will no longer show as suggestions unless that’s the best guess we have. You can always find hidden services by choosing “More Options”, selecting “From”, and then “Show All Services”.
The “Add to Deliveries” extension will automatically fill in item names for “Amazon - by tracking link” deliveries. Just go to Amazon’s “Your Orders” page in Safari, tap the Share button, and choose “Add to Deliveries”.
The “Add to Deliveries” extension now works correctly on linked images in Mail—for example, a button that links to a tracking page.
Improved tracking number detection for GLS, LaserShip, PostNL, and Yamato.

Calendar:

The list of calendars is grouped by source (for example, iCloud or Google).
Fixed a bug where calendar events were updated more often than they should have been. This was especially noticeable with shared calendars, because you’d get frequent notifications about events being updated.

The refresh status of a delivery is now shown on the right side of each delivery in the list, so the progress indicator is less obtrusive. When Deliveries is unable to update the status, you’ll see an alert icon. For an Amazon delivery, this often means that you need to sign in.

If a delivered item can no longer be found online, Deliveries will keep the last known details instead of showing a “not found” error. We do still recommend you archive deliveries that no longer need to be refreshed.
If you restore an archived delivery that’s no longer available online, it will continue to show the last known details, so you don’t lose any information.
You can now use the escape key to cancel a search even if the search field doesn’t have focus.
Fixed a bug where USPS shipments were missing a delivery date in some cases.

Updated the Amazon sign in process. Instead of entering your password in the settings, you’ll now see a “sign in required” button when Amazon needs you to sign in again. When you add deliveries by order number, we recommend only adding deliveries from one Amazon account at a time.
Added an option to look up Amazon shipments using a tracking link, without having to sign in. Just paste the address of a “Track Package” page or email link, or use the “Add to Deliveries” extension, and Deliveries will show a new “Amazon – by tracking link” option. Tracking a shipment this way won’t show information about other shipments in the order, and some orders can’t be tracked this way.
The “Add to Deliveries” extension now includes more choices. If there are multiple tracking numbers or order numbers on the page, you can now choose which one to use.

New in version 2.1:

Background updates: the main app no longer has to be open to update and get notifications. There’s a new setting in the preferences to turn this on or off. If you previously set the app to start at login, this will be turned on automatically.
Shortcuts: in the preferences, you can now set global shortcuts to add a new delivery or show your list of deliveries.
Smarter guesses: In many cases you’ll now get better shipping company suggestions when you paste in a tracking number or URL. In particular, EMS numbers will now show additional options where you may be able to track your shipment. You should also see fewer incorrect guesses.
Defaults: When the app is installed for the first time, it now selects some default favorite services based on your region.
Troubleshooting: Deliveries with a “Not Found” error now include a button to show some troubleshooting tips.

New in version 2.0:

Complete iCloud sync: the entire state of your deliveries is now synced when you use iCloud. That includes the current status, which allows for faster and more efficient updates in many cases. It also includes archived and deleted items, so your archive should match across devices. (When syncing the first time, only the past 30 days will be included.)
See the full route on the map: for many services, you can now see the path of where your package has been in addition to its current location. This makes sharing deliveries more fun too.
More ways to add deliveries: select text in another app (like Mail or Safari), right-click, choose “Share”, and then “Add to Deliveries”. Don’t worry about selecting just the tracking number, it should find it if you select too much.
Clipboard detection: click the + button and you’ll see suggestions based on your clipboard there. To add the first suggestion all you have to do is press return.
Swipe to archive: with a trackpad or Magic Mouse you can swipe to archive a delivery, or delete an already archived delivery.
A fresh look: the new system font is now used throughout, and an adjusted detail view focuses more on the information you care about.
Search for help: you can now search our support pages right in the Help menu.
Adjustable split view: just drag the divider wherever you like.
For a delivery with multiple packages, you can now click the “1 of 2” badge in the list to show the next package.
If the main app is open, it will now respond instantly if you add a delivery with the “Add to Deliveries” extension.
Adding the same delivery more than once with the “Add to Deliveries” extension will now update the delivery instead of adding a duplicate. This change also addresses a bug where you might have gotten duplicates even though you only added it once.
The badge number on the icon should now roughly match the number of deliveries that have changed, instead of just increasing each time there’s a notification. If you archive a delivery from a notification or on another device, the number will decrease by one, and notifications for that delivery will be cleared.
If a delivery changes after it’s delivered, and it’s still showing as delivered, it will no longer trigger a notification. These changes are rarely of interest.
Previously if Notification Center was open and a delivery changed, you wouldn’t get a notification. That is no longer the case, as long as the parent app is running.
When there’s a serious error, you now have the option of resetting the app’s data.
New security features in OS X allow the app to enforce minimum security requirements when it connects to each service.

All new iCloud syncing is faster and more reliable than ever. Make sure you update Deliveries on all your devices to continue syncing—Deliveries 6.2 for iOS and Deliveries 1.2 for Mac. Older versions won’t be able to sync with these newer versions. Alternatively, you can use Junecloud Sync to sync with older versions.

The main window will no longer show at launch if the app is running in menu bar mode.
Sometimes duplicates will appear because the app and the Today widget synced at the same time. These are now cleaned up automatically the next time you modify the delivery, which means you can now delete that stubborn delivery that wouldn’t go away.

Previously a delivery would always show the archive button if the delivery date was missing or in the past. This is no longer the case unless the status has not changed in 3 days or more.

Handoff: if you’re viewing or editing a delivery and you want to switch to another device, you can now use Handoff to take you straight there.
Sharing: you can now share a snapshot of your delivery, which is fun if you want to tweet about how that pre-order you’re so excited about just shipped. It tries to leave out stuff you probably don’t want to share, like the tracking number and your current location. The email sharing template has also been improved.
Search: you can now filter your search results by Archived, Active, or All. This gives you an easy way to browse all your archived deliveries—just choose All or Archived without entering any search text. You can also search by delivery date, using the format YYYY-MM-DD. That means you can search for a specific day (“2015-04-24”), a whole month, (“2015-04”), or an entire year (“2015”).

Refresh All will no longer update deliveries that are complete—when all shipments have been delivered. You can still manually refresh a delivered item by clicking the “…” button and choosing “Refresh” there.
Improved keyboard navigation (tabbing between elements) in the main window, especially when full keyboard access is enabled.

This would obviously never happen, but if the app crashes, you can now report the problem to us the next time you open it.

How secure is Notefile?

Similar to other note taking options like Mail or Stickies, your notes are not stored encrypted. For this reason we don’t recommend storing sensitive information like passwords in Notefile.

If you choose to use Junecloud sync, your notes are sent over a secure (https) connection to protect your privacy. Your notes are stored encrypted on our server. Your Junecloud password is stored encrypted in your keychain, in the same way that other passwords are saved.

The widget will contact Junecloud.com occasionally to check for a new version. No information is sent apart from the standard information that’s sent when you visit any site (for example the browser name and version).

What should I do if iCloud isn't working?

If iCloud syncing isn’t working, make sure you have a working internet connection, and you may need to give iCloud some time to sync. If you’re still having problems, try the suggestions below.

Make sure macOS is up to date

We recommend using the latest version of macOS, but make sure you have at least 10.10 (Yosemite) or later. You can check for updates by opening the App Store app, then clicking on the Updates tab.

Make sure Notefile is up to date

Some older versions of Notefile won’t be able to sync with newer versions, so make sure you have the latest version on all your devices. You’ll need Notefile 2.7 or later for iOS or Notefile 2.7 or later for Mac to keep everything in sync. You can check for updates by opening the App Store app, then clicking on the Updates tab.

Make sure iCloud is enabled

Quit Notefile (open the Notefile menu and choose “Quit Notefile” at the bottom)
Open System Preferences (you’ll find it in the Apple menu or your Utilities folder)
Click the “iCloud” icon
Make sure you’re signed in using the same Apple ID you use for iCloud on your other devices
Make sure “iCloud Drive” has a checkmark next to it
Click the “Options…” button next to iCloud Drive, find Notefile in the list, and make sure that has a checkmark as well
Return to the Notefile app, open the Notefile menu, and choose “Preferences…”
Click “Sync”
Make sure it says “Syncing with iCloud”

If you’re still having problems, try restarting your Mac.

Reset iCloud data

If nothing else is working, you can reset the app’s iCloud data. This will delete all of your synced data from iCloud. Notes saved on your devices will be re-synced the next time you open the app. To get started, open this page on the device that has the most up to date copy of your notes, and press the button below.
Reset iCloud data

We’ve found that these suggestions solve most iCloud problems. If it’s still not working, please let us know and we’ll do our best to help you. You may also want to try switching to Junecloud sync, especially if you need to sync with older versions of the app.

Why isn’t one of my notes syncing with Junecloud?

Junecloud Sync has a limit of around 65K per note. If your note is in English, the limit will be around 65,000 characters. In other languages, like Japanese, it will be closer to 25,000 characters.

The current version of the Notefile app does not deal with this situation well, and will not show an error. In the past you may have seen frequent “couldn’t connect” errors. This issue will be addressed in a future update.

Add to Deliveries 1.3 Browser Extension

This browser extension will allow you to quickly add a tracking number to Deliveries using Google Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge, on any Mac or Windows computer.

Once the extension is installed, visit a web page with tracking information, and click the “Add to Deliveries” button in your browser. On a Mac with Deliveries installed, the app will open and you’ll get a list of options to choose from, based on tracking information anywhere on the page. If you don’t have Deliveries installed, the extension checks the address of the web page and the selected text for a tracking number, and sends that information to Junecloud Sync.

Requirements

This browser extension is compatible with Google Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge, on any Mac or Windows computer. You’ll get the best results on a Mac with Deliveries 3.2.2 or later installed. Otherwise you’ll need a Junecloud Sync account.

Other browsers

If you’re using Safari for Mac, the Add to Deliveries extension is included with Deliveries for Mac. Learn how to use it here.

If you’re using any browser for iPhone or iPad—including Safari, Google Chrome, or Microsoft Edge—the Add to Deliveries extension is included with Deliveries for iOS. The Future of Deliveries

Deliveries began as a hobby—it was first released as a Dashboard widget named “Apple Order Status” on January 22, 2006. Over time more services were added, and the name and icon evolved along with it. Eventually it became an iOS app named “Delivery Status touch” on September 19, 2008, shortly after Apple first launched the App Store. When I first created the widget I never imagined I’d still be working on it daily sixteen years later.

Many things have changed over the years, and unfortunately we’re no longer able to maintain the same service that so many of you have come to rely on. Deliveries relies on many different shipping companies, and without their help it’s not possible for the app to continue working the way you expect.

It’s likely that over time, more services in Deliveries will no longer show tracking information directly in the app. You won’t see the delivery date, the map route, or any of the details, and you won’t get notifications about changes to the status. You will need to use the “View Online” button to see your tracking information on the shipping company’s web site.

We understand this will make Deliveries less useful for many of you, and you may decide to take a different approach to tracking your packages. For those of you that choose to continue using Deliveries, we’ll do our best to keep making it as useful as we’re able to. Thank you for all of your support over the years.

How can I transfer my archived deliveries to another device?

iCloud will sync your archived items between devices, and you can use both iCloud and Junecloud sync together if there are features of Junecloud sync that you need.

You can also manually transfer your complete list of deliveries if you ever need to. First, choose the device that has the most complete list of deliveries, and follow the relevant instructions below.

Export your deliveries on iPhone or iPad

Open Deliveries
Tap the settings button
Tap “Manage Your Data”
Tap “Export All Deliveries”
Choose the easiest way to share the data with your other device. For example, you could AirDrop the file to your other device, or save it to iCloud Drive. You could choose to email it using Mail, or any of the other options available to you.

Export your deliveries on a Mac

Open Deliveries
Open the “Deliveries” menu, select “Export”, then “Export All…”
Use the window to save the file wherever it’s convenient. For example, you could save it to iCloud Drive so you can access it on your other devices. You could save it to your desktop so you can share it using AirDrop or Mail.

Once the file is transferred to your other device, open the deliveries document in the Deliveries app. All of the items in the file will be imported automatically.

An update on our apps

It’s been a while since we shared an update on everything we’re working on. With iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 available today, this seemed like a good time. Of course macOS Monterey is just around the corner as well.

Deliveries

We recently released Deliveries 9.2. This isn’t our “iOS 15 update” but it supports all current devices, and it works great on iOS 15 and iPadOS 15. It even supports some new features: for example you can now drag a message from Mail and drop it into Deliveries on iOS 15, and Deliveries will automatically detect tracking numbers in the message. You can also drop a delivery into Quick Notes on iPad (though we’ll make this even better in the future). We also added the ability to scan text using our barcode scanner. That doesn’t require iOS 15, but it feels right at home with the new text recognition features Apple has added to the camera.

We are working on an update that will support more new features in iOS 15, iPadOS 15, watchOS 8, and macOS Monterey. We’ll share more details on that when we’re ready. We are also working on a bug fix to address problems some people have had updating the app, though you can fix the problem in a few steps if necessary.

Notefile

Notefile is long overdue for an update, and many of you have understandably assumed it was abandoned. We still use Notefile every day, and we know many of you do too. Notefile and Deliveries share many components behind the scenes, so while we were working on Deliveries 9, we were effectively working on a big update for Notefile as well. The app is currently undergoing a complete interface overhaul, and we should have more information to share soon.

Just to be clear about expectations, Notefile will remain a simple and focused note taking app. We believe simplicity is its strength. Our current focus is on updating the app to work better with the latest devices and give it a fresh look. We’re not planning on adding any major new features at this time.

Junecloud Toolbox

Junecloud Toolbox will be updated soon with support for Apple Silicon, a new icon that matches the current macOS style, and some other minor improvements. We recently updated the Junecloud Toolbox help page with information about installing it on macOS 10.14 or later.

Update: Junecloud Toolbox 4.1 is now available, with support for macOS Monterey and Apple Silicon.

Our other software

By now most of you have noticed that our Dashboard widgets are no longer supported. Apple phased out Dashboard over a long period of time before removing it entirely in macOS Catalina. If you’re still using our Delivery Status or Notefile widgets, we recommend trying the full app versions, available on the Mac App Store.

Chicago Avenue Moon will no longer receive any updates, but it is still available free of charge for those that would like to try it.

Junecloud Toolbox 4.1

Junecloud Toolbox includes a variety of Automator Actions and a Safari Extension. These tools are designed to take some of the tedium out of your work. Many of them were created specifically for web designers and developers. However, if you’re not either of those, you may still find them useful.

For information about each tool, see below. If you’re new to Automator, you can learn about it here. If you’d like to customize these tools for your own use, the source code is available on GitHub. Junecloud Toolbox was previously named Junecloud Automator Actions.

Included Automator actions

Save for Web (previously Save as JPEG) exports images in JPEG, GIF, or PNG format. Options allow you to constrain the image to a maximum width and height, and sharpen the image after resizing.
Make Names Web-Friendly converts the names of files to all lowercase, removes accents, changes spaces to underscores or dashes, and converts other special characters to underscores or dashes.
Create Clean Archive creates a clean zip format archive (.zip) that’s ready to share with others. Macintosh resource forks and desktop files will be ignored so they don’t get in the way on other operating systems. If you’re uploading the file online, use the action “Make Names Web-Friendly” afterward to ensure the archive has a web-friendly file name.
Create Symbolic Link creates a symbolic link for each of the selected files. A symbolic link is similar to an alias, except that many applications, including the Create Clean Archive action, will see only the file points to rather than the alias itself.
Hide or Show Extensions hides or shows the file extension of the selected files.

Included Safari extensions

Copy Short Link looks for an official short link to the current web page, and copies it to your clipboard. This is based on our old “Make It Short” extension, but it only looks for official short links—third-party URL shortening services are not included.

Why is the home screen widget missing?

There’s a bug in iOS 14 or later that can cause widgets to disappear temporarily, especially after an app is updated. In most cases this can be fixed with the following steps:

Restart your iPhone or Restart your iPad
Open Deliveries once
Add the widget on your iPhone or add the widget on your iPad

What should I do if the app is stuck "updating"?

In most cases this problem should be fixed by installing Deliveries 9.2.1. If you continue to have problems, try the steps below.

On a Mac

If Deliveries is open, open the “Deliveries” menu and choose “Quit Deliveries”.
In Finder, open the “Go” menu and choose “Go to Folder…”
Enter this path: ~/Library/Group Containers/PB4R74AA4J.com.junecloud.Deliveries/
Click “Go”
You’ll see multiple files that start with “Deliveries” and have an extension of “sqlite”, “sqlite-shm”, or “sqlite-wal”. Move all of them to the trash. (It’s also fine if you just want to move everything in that folder to the trash.)
Restart your Mac
Open Deliveries again

On an iPhone or iPad

Delete the app
Download the app again from the App Store

Why is Deliveries asking for access to my keychain?

Some versions of Deliveries store “Deliveries Session Data” in the keychain, which is needed to update some deliveries. Deliveries 9.2 or later no longer uses this data. You can manually delete the item using the Keychain Access app if you would like to, but this isn’t necessary.

If you are using an older version of Deliveries, you may see a message when some parts of the app, like “Deliveries Express” or “Deliveries Today”, need access to that data to update. After you type your password, make sure to click the “Always Allow” button on the left side, so it doesn’t have to ask every time. If you press return or click the “Allow” button, it will only get access once and you’ll have to approve it each time. Once each part of the app has “Always Allow” access, you shouldn’t see this request anymore.

If you use Junecloud sync, you may see a similar message asking for access to your “junecloud.com” password. Follow the same instructions and it won’t ask again.

Why does my "Amazon - by tracking link" shipment show "not found"?

Why is Amazon asking me to sign in frequently?

In most cases, after you sign in once or twice, Amazon will keep you signed in for an extended period of time. Here are some troubleshooting tips if you’re still having problems:

Make sure you have Deliveries 9.2 or later installed.
When you sign in to Amazon, you should see a “keep me signed in” checkbox below the sign in form. Make sure this is checked.

Why isn't DHL GlobalMail working?

Deliveries 9.2 or later brings back support for DHL GlobalMail, now called DHL eCommerce. Currently we are not able to show delivery dates in the app. You can use the “View Online” button to check the delivery date.

The “View Online” page should also include an alternate tracking number that usually works with one of the other services Deliveries supports. There’s a box on the side of the page (or at the bottom on a mobile device) with various numbers. It may be labeled “Delivery by Postal provider”, “Delivery by USPS Int’l”, or something similar. Often this is a number for the U.S. Postal Service or another service we support, so you can copy that number and add it instead.

Why doesn't my Apple Watch show the same deliveries that are on my iPhone?

Deliveries 9.2 or later includes a new version of our Apple Watch app, which should fix most syncing problems. We recommend enabling iCloud sync in the iPhone app, which will allow the Apple Watch app to update even if it can’t communicate directly with your iPhone.

Often restarting your Apple Watch will fix issues where it’s unable to communicate with your iPhone.

If you continue to have problems, it may help to delete and reinstall the Apple Watch app by following these instructions:

On your iPhone, open the Watch app
Select the “My Watch” tab at the bottom
Scroll down until you find Deliveries in the list of apps, and select it
Turn the “Show App on Apple Watch” switch off, and wait for the app to finish uninstalling
Turn the switch back on, and wait for the app to finish installing again
Open Deliveries on your iPhone
Open Deliveries on your Apple Watch
Wait for the initial sync to complete

Once the initial sync is successful, the app should sync automatically in the background.

Upcoming changes to Deliveries

Deliveries 9.2 will be available soon, and we wanted to let you know about some changes we’re making to improve the service. This post includes some technical details but we’ll try to make it as clear as possible.

In the past, Deliveries has always worked by contacting each shipping service directly to check the status of your packages. While this has worked well overall, and helped us keep our own costs down, we’ve started to see the limitations of this approach.

We recently started exceeding our limits for DHL’s tracking system, or API. There are a limited number of times per day that our app can check the status of your packages. If you’re tracking two DHL packages, and you have Deliveries installed on three difference devices, then refreshing the status once on each device would use a total of six API calls.

In Deliveries 9.2, DHL shipments are updated by contacting our own server, which gets the latest information from DHL, keeps a copy of that information on our own server, and then sends it to the Deliveries app. If your other devices check the status shortly after that, we can send back the information we have stored. In the above scenario, that means we only have to make two DHL API calls instead of six, significantly increasing the number of shipments we can check in a day.

Since we’ve mentioned our previous approach as a privacy benefit, we wanted to make this new approach as privacy conscious as possible. Requests are sent over a secure HTTPS connection. The item name is not included with these requests, since it’s not needed. Requests include an identifier that’s specific to your device, as well as your IP address. Our servers store your device identifier and IP address information separate from any tracking numbers, and date stamps have a randomization factor applied, so we can’t link those things together. (Note that if you use use our optional Junecloud sync service, this information is linked to your account.) We’ve posted a new Deliveries Privacy Overview with more information about how we handle each type of data.

This change also offers some significant benefits. Our server can send the app exactly the information it needs, so it doesn’t waste bandwidth. If your tracking information hasn’t changed since the last check, our server can communicate that concisely without having to send the same data again. We can also make improvements that take effect immediately, without having to release an update to the app. Because of these benefits, we expect to use this approach with more services over time.

One additional note about this change: because our DHL API calls are shared across all versions of the app, you may continue to see some issues when Deliveries 9.2 is first released. Once the update has rolled out to everyone, we should be able to resolve those issues. We will also be able to further optimize over time without needing to update the app.

Installation

Junecloud Toolbox requires macOS 10.12 or later. (See below for older versions.) Here’s how to get started:

Download Junecloud Toolbox
Find Junecloud Toolbox in your Downloads folder, and open the zip file if necessary
Move the app to your Applications folder
Open the app to learn how to use it, and to install optional services. The app does not have to be running to use it.

On macOS 10.14 or later (Mojave, Catalina, Big Sur, and Monterey) you will also need to enable third-party actions in Automator before you can use them:

Open the Automator app
Open the Automator menu and choose “Third Party Automator Actions…”
Check the box “Enable Automator actions from third parties”
Click OK

If you’re new to Automator, you may want to focus on the basics before trying our actions. Open Automator and choose “Automator Help” from the Help menu to learn how to get started. You can also learn about Automator here.

Older versions of OS X

OS X 10.7.4 through 10.11 (Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks, Yosemite, and El Capitan)

Download Junecloud Automator Actions 3.0.1. Open the Actions folder and double-click an action to install it. You can use these actions in any type of workflow, but they’re particularly useful as Services. Open the Services folder and double-click a service to open it. Click “Install” to use it as is, or choose “Open with Automator” to customize the workflow. Once the service is installed, you can right-click (or control-click) a file in the Finder, then choose the service at the bottom of the menu to use it. You can also select multiple files to affect them all at once.

OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)

Download Junecloud Automator Actions 2.5.1. To install an action, just double-click it. Double-click a service to open it in Automator. If you like, you can customize the settings or add other actions to the workflow. When you’re done, choose “Save As…” from the File menu. You can now right-click (or control-click) a file in the Finder, then choose the service at the bottom of the menu to use it.

OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

Download Junecloud Automator Actions 2.5.1. In some versions of Leopard, double-clicking may not install the actions. It’s easy to install them manually though: just open your home folder in the Finder, then open the Library folder there. If you see an Automator folder, open it. If not, create it yourself. Drag the actions you want to install into this folder.

In Leopard, Finder Plug-Ins were used instead of Services. To create a Finder Plug-In, open Automator and create a new workflow. Add the actions you want to include. Choose “Save As Plug-In…” from the File menu. Enter a name, make sure Finder is selected in the pop-up menu, and click Save. You can now right-click (or control-click) a file in the Finder and choose More → Automator → Name to run the action on that file.

OS X 10.4 (Tiger)

Download Junecloud Automator Actions 2.5.1. Tiger is not officially supported, but you can use these actions if you install them manually. Open your home folder in the Finder, then open the Library folder there. If you see an Automator folder, open it. If not, create it yourself. Drag the actions you want to install into this folder.

You may find some quirks in Tiger. Currently the only known bug is that the “convert umlauts to ‘e’” option in Make Names Web-Friendly does not work in Tiger.

Our older Automator actions

Change Extensions is no longer available. In OS X 10.7 or later, you can use the built-in “Rename Finder Items” action to change extensions. Just choose “Replace Text” and then set it to find in “extension only”.

Find Finder Items by Label is no longer available. In Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6 or later), you can use the built-in “Find Finder Items” action to search by color label.

Can I remove the icon from the Dock when the menu bar icon is enabled?

When you have the menu bar icon enabled, just quit the app when you’re done using it, and the icon will remain in the menu bar. If you’d also like the app to continue updating your deliveries in the background, open the Deliveries menu and choose “Preferences…”, then click the General icon. Make sure “Update in the background” is checked.

Are my passwords sent securely? Is anything sent through your server?

Passwords are sent directly to the service’s web site over a secure HTTPS connection, similar to when you log in through your web browser. If you choose to save a password, it’s stored encrypted in your keychain, in the same way other passwords are saved. Why doesn't the “Placeholder” option show my tracking details?

Placeholders are different from services we have direct support for. (In earlier versions of our app, the “Placeholder” option was labeled “Other”.) They’re a way to manually keep track of packages from other services, so you can have all your shipments in one place. If you enter a date then Deliveries will count down to that delivery date for you. If you enter a web site, you’ll be able to tap “View Online” to open the web site and manually check the status.

Why are my Amazon orders showing "not found" after changing my email address or password?

This is usually fixed by signing in again, even if the app isn’t asking you to:

Select an Amazon delivery.
On iOS, rest your finger on the “…” button until the menu appears. On Mac, hold the option (or alt) key on your keyboard and then click the “…” button.
You should see a menu with some extra options—choose “Sign In”.
Sign in there and press the “Done” button when you’re finished.

Why is Add to Deliveries no longer in the Share sheet?

In iOS 14 or later, you’ll find Deliveries in the row of color app icons. If you don’t see it there, scroll all the way to the right, tap “More”, then find Deliveries there. If necessary, tap the “Edit” button, and make sure the switch next to Deliveries is turned on. If you use it often, tap the green + button to add it to your Favorites.

If you still can’t find it, there is a bug in iOS 14 that can cause apps to disappear from the share sheet when an update is installed. Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad and it should appear again.
