I'm a pre-final year student and a software developer working at AIATELLA, a Finnish medical AI startup focused on heart screening. I work with Python, Django, FastAPI, (well, anything which gets the job done). I also care deeply about making technology accessible in Indian languages.

I'm currently interning at IIT Roorkee under Prof. Sparsh Mittal, working on NLP research around Indic languages. Previously interned at IIT Delhi (2022, 2024), came back as a mentor in 2025, and before that, I started my hard core backend dev arc at Copilotly.

Projects

• monkeSearch — fully local, temporally aware semantic file search. Uses embedding models for natural language queries on your local files, no GPU needed. 170+ GitHub stars, collaborated with the LEANN team.
• SpaceTranslate — space launch information in 22+ Indian languages. Built because there was almost no outlet where one could read about upcoming/past space launches in regional languages. (made it for my dad)
• DCDA — Devanagari character detection and analysis. OCR pipeline for Hindi text digitization using Tesseract. Built v1 and later revamped it as v2.
• tesseract-bbox-examples — reverse-engineered Tesseract.js demos to export bounding box data for detected words. Couldn't find examples anywhere, so I wrote them.
• Hindi LLM fine-tuning — currently busy finetuning models for indic languages, and also figuring out benchmarking and evaluations for it. Models on HuggingFace.
• py-artist: Making digital art with code.

Open Source

I do a lot of open source stuff around the internet, not always directly contributing but developing stuff for my own use/ self hosting stuff and trying out new things.
I try to find (or build) new projects which align with my ideas, try to get things working, or pitch ideas or have fun discussions on the forums.

• I tend to not sound like a robot so I don't really have a "formal" portfolio.
• I used to host a Jellyfin media server and a Minecraft server.
• I like exploring art, digital/ poetry and making them myself. I have a secret art page.
• I email amazing people and many a times they reply. Always trying to not stagnate. Have done a bunch of fun collaborations with people around the world on cool projects.
• I'm surprised by my own ability to pick things up fast — went from Django to tests to FastAPI to mocks in a continuous arc and a plethora of random things in tech I've picked up maybe due to my hyper-activeness or boredom...
