So it shows you the plain text if you put the marker on the file and press the F3 – if you want to view a .pdf on console and you need to display the pictures in it, then I’d reccomend the fbgs – that’s a wrapper script which uses gs (GhostScript) and fbi (framebuffer-imageviewer) – also
PS (PostScript) files can be displayed with this tool on the console.
