You may be wondering about the name of the project. When I was thinking about the logo design I came up with the idea of using Greek letters of whatever physical phenomenon the sensor is measuring. As all of the sensors use electromagnetic waves to transmit the values I thought of using ‘Lambda’ in the overall project name as it is the Greek letter used for wavelength. FYI: the sensor nodes transmit at a frequency of 2.4GHz and the actual wavelength at this frequency is 12.5cm.
