If You Stayed at the Leo’s Motel For 21 To 30 Consecutive Days at any Time from March 28, 2019, Through October 29, 2025, The Proposed Class Action Settlement May Affect Your Rights.
A proposed settlement (the “Settlement”) of $500,000.00 has been reached to resolve a class action lawsuit entitled Flores v. Leo’s Motel, et al., Los Angeles County Superior Court of California Case No. 23STCV06920 (the “Action”). The person who sued, Cesar Flores, is called “Plaintiff.” The persons and entities that were sued, 1879 Lomita L.L.C. d/b/a Leo’s Motel; Arvinda R. Patel, as an individual and trustee of Ramesh N. Patel and Arvinda R. Patel Revocable Living Trust Dated July 14, 2017; and Ramesh N. Patel, as an individual and trustee of Ramesh N. Patel and Arvinda R. Patel Revocable Living Trust Dated July 14, 2017, are called “Defendants.”
The purpose of the Notice of Proposed Class Action Settlement (“Notice”) is to briefly describe the Action, to inform you of your rights and options in connection with the proposed Settlement, and to provide other important information.
You may be eligible to receive a payment under the Settlement and may be bound by the release of claims described in the Notice and the Settlement Agreement filed with the Court, unless you timely request to be excluded from the settlement.

Do Nothing | You will receive a share of the settlement proceeds. You will also give up your right to pursue a separate legal action against Defendants for the claims alleged in this Action. |
Exclude Yourself From the Settlement | You have the option to pursue a separate legal action against Defendants relating to the claims in the Action. If you choose to do so, you must exclude yourself, in writing, from the Settlement. As a result, you will not receive any benefits under the Settlement. |
Object to the Settlement | To object to the Settlement, you may write to the Court or appear at the Final Approval Hearing to explain why you disagree with the Settlement. You will still receive a share of the settlement proceeds. This option is available only if you do not exclude yourself from the Settlement. |
