Libertas Network is growing. As we expand our national programs to serve millions of families and spread the ideas of human flourishing, we need leaders who match the scale of that ambition. That’s why we’re excited to announce the addition of three extraordinary individuals to our board of trustees. Each one brings deep experience, bold vision, and a shared commitment to our mission of changing hearts, minds, and laws to create a freer future. We couldn’t be more energized about what’s ahead.

Russell Brunson

Russell Brunson is a digital marketing entrepreneur and author who has scaled ClickFunnels into a leading sales‑funnel platform with over 150,000 paying customers and more than 265 million dollars in annual revenue.

Over the past two decades, Brunson has built a community of more than a million entrepreneurs, created the “Two Comma Club” recognition for users who generate at least seven figures through a single funnel, and helped thousands reach that milestone. Through bestsellers like DotCom Secrets, Expert Secrets, and Traffic Secrets, he has helped codify the language and strategy of online sales funnels, shaping how modern entrepreneurs think about traffic, conversion, and customer journeys. Russell lives near Boise, Idaho, with his wife and five kids.

Carrie Tynan

Carrie Tynan is the Chief Executive Officer of the Adolph Coors Foundation, where she oversees all operations and is responsible for carrying out the trustees’ long‑term philanthropic vision. A Colorado native and University of Texas graduate, she previously worked as an English teacher before moving into philanthropy and rising through several program and leadership roles at the foundation over nearly two decades.

During her tenure, she has helped steward donor intent by ensuring the Foundation’s grantmaking focuses on organizations that advance free enterprise, limited government, and the rule of law, with a strong emphasis on helping people become self‑reliant rather than dependent on public assistance.

Nicole Nosek

Nicole Nabulsi Nosek is a housing and energy advocate, political organizer, and civic leader, best known as the founder of Texans for Reasonable Solutions, a Texas based nonprofit working to expand housing supply and reduce costs through land‑use reform. A former paralegal who struggled to afford housing on a modest income, she spent about 15 years in senior roles on U.S. political campaigns before moving from the Bay Area to the Austin region in 2019 with her husband, entrepreneur and investor Luke Nosek, and their three children, each of them avid readers of Tuttle Twins. Nicole is an active political donor, philanthropist, and connector, bringing an entrepreneurial, coalition‑building mindset to her policy and community work. Nicole holds a bachelor’s degree in Rhetoric and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. She also completed 1.5 years toward a Juris Doctor (J.D.) at the University of San Francisco School of Law.

Jeffrey Harmon (Angel Studios), John Pestana (ObservePoint), and Connor Boyack continue to serve on the board alongside these three new additions, bringing continuity and strength to an already powerful team.

Libertas Network is positioned for substantial growth in the years ahead, with a focus on positively impacting the lives of millions of families through educational and experiential programming. As we approach the 250th anniversary of America, we’re looking forward, not just back. Our focus remains on spreading the ideas of freedom to families and investing in the long-term social and cultural shifts necessary to preserve human flourishing for generations to come.

In early 2025 we set out an ambitious “Vivid Vision” for our team to grow our impact and scale up our work, and the end-of-year results demonstrate significant progress across all our initiatives. In total, we positively impacted more than 1.3 million families!

Below, watch a 15-minute update sharing our 2025 impact, presented by our president, Connor Boyack — or scroll down to see text and infographic versions.

Children’s Entrepreneur Market

In 2025, we nearly doubled our reach, serving over 45,000 kids through our entrepreneurship curriculum and market experiences. In our program, kids sell real products for real money, learning financial literacy firsthand in ways that far surpass classroom instruction.

We also expanded to all 50 states and secured media coverage in every state—1,420 media hits total!

We also awarded $50,000 in scholarships (cute video here!), and our youth entrepreneurs generated over $3.8 million in revenue!

The Tuttle Twins

Our flagship family education program grew significantly in 2025, from just over $7 million in gross sales in 2024 to over $13 million this year.

Over 400,000 new readers began using Tuttle Twins materials in 2025. In total, we’ve sold nearly 7 million copies of our books!

Another exciting update: our Academy of digital courses for teens now has 250 lessons and has been surging in popularity.

Libertas Institute

Our award-winning think tank impacted over 584,000 families this year with the legal reforms we’ve enacted.

We operate with a “nail it, then scale it” approach—we first pass innovative reforms in Utah (four this year!) and then expand them to other states. In 2025, we introduced 26 bills in different states to expand our reach.

This year’s reforms passed include:

  • Prohibiting the government from automatically collecting and storing the blood of newborn babies.
  • Expanding the types of locations where microschools can operate without bureaucratic permission.
  • Requiring local governments to establish a transparent, predictable process for approving innovative business types not covered by current zoning laws.
  • Eliminates accreditation requirements for applicants seeking state licensure for their profession.

Praxis

This year, we acquired Praxis, a career accelerator that helps young adults skip college, save time and money, and secure a well-paying entry-level job.

In 2025, we rebuilt the team, the program, and the branding—and after a late fall soft launch, ended the year with 62 participants who saved a total of 158 years of their time by opting out of college.

We conducted 18 professional development workshops for participants and alumni, signed on 38 new hiring partners to offer jobs to our growing network of students, and overall made a $13.5 million impact on the lives of 2025 participants by helping them avoid tuition and gain 3.5 years of extra income.

Overton Insights

In 2025, we launched a new initiative to conduct highly accurate public policy polling to understand voter sentiment better (to assess how best to shift it through our policy reforms and other efforts).

Before expanding our services to outside clients, we spent this year honing our craft and focusing on four quarterly polls, which attracted 91 top-tier media mentions and totaled over $29 million in earned media value, along with over 2 million impressions across traditional and social media.

Libertas Action Coalition

As we grow our national network of families and provide them with experiences and education to deepen their understanding of and alignment with the ideas of freedom, we have considered how best to continue supporting these families once they are educated.

Enter the Action Coalition, a new initiative we launched this year to connect these families to opportunities in their communities and states to engage in the fight—whether through internships and job openings, civic engagement opportunities, and more.

This new effort attracted nine new partners in 2025, and we launched eight communication campaigns, engaging over 155,000 families! Much more to come.

It’s been a whirlwind year of growth, but in truth, we’ve been laying the foundation for much greater impact in the months and years ahead. Expect significant growth within Libertas Network.

Your financial support fuels this growth and is critical to our ability to launch new initiatives, scale existing ones, and serve more families. Please consider expanding our ability to grow further, faster, with a generous donation today:

Below is an infographic highlighting the successes we shared above:

Today, we’re excited to launch Overton Insights—a new public polling company owned by Libertas Network. At Libertas, our mission is to change hearts, minds, and laws for a freer society. Overton Insights brings us closer to that goal by delivering data-driven clarity on what people think and where we—and our partner organizations across the country—can drive change.

Here’s why we’re doing it, what makes it unique, and how it fits into our vision of empowering individuals to live freer, fuller lives.

Why Overton Insights?

The name “Overton” comes from the Overton Window—the range of ideas society considers acceptable at any moment. That window moves when we understand public sentiment and act on it. Polling is the key to that understanding. Overton Insights isn’t just about collecting data—it’s about revealing what people believe, what they’re ready for, and where we can expand the horizons of freedom.

We launched Overton Insights because data is power in the fight for liberty. From civil rights to economic freedom, history shows that knowing where people stand can turn bold ideas into reality. With Overton Insights, we’re bringing that same insight to today’s push for individual rights, free markets, and personal agency.

What We’re Doing—and Why It Matters

Overton Insights is built to stand out. We’re creating one of the most transparent polling operations in the country, committed to accurate, reliable results. Here’s what defines us:

  1. Unmatched Transparency: We’ll lay it all out—our methodology, sample sizes, and data will be open for anyone to see. No smoke, no mirrors—just honest polling.
  2. Nonpartisan Accuracy: Overton Insights is completely nonpartisan. We’re not here to cheerlead for any side or party. Our polls will reflect the truth, even when it doesn’t match the policy areas we at Libertas believe in. That’s intentional—it shows us where the real work of changing hearts and minds lies.
  3. Liberty-Focused Insights: We’ll probe attitudes on the issues that matter—individual rights, free markets, and limited government—while tracking where the Overton Window can shift.
  4. Fun and Attention-Grabbing: Alongside the serious questions, we’ll toss in fun political and cultural ones—like “Who’d win in a debate: George Washington or Abraham Lincoln?” or “Pineapple on pizza: yes or no?” These will spark buzz, draw media attention, and keep people talking.

For now, we’re partnering with a well-respected, highly rated pollster to ensure our data is top-notch from day one. Soon we’ll bring our polling in-house, not just for Libertas needs but also to support other think tanks and organizations advancing freedom. This is just the beginning—Overton Insights will quickly grow into a resource for the broader liberty movement.

Why does this matter? Because the fight for freedom needs more than guesswork. Too often, we’re flying blind or stuck in echo chambers. Overton Insights changes that. It’s about knowing where people stand—especially when it challenges us—so we can build smarter strategies and win real progress.

How It Complements the Libertas Network’s Vision

The Libertas Network is dedicated to building a freer future through education, policy reform, and community empowerment. From the Tuttle Twins teaching kids about liberty to the Children’s Entrepreneur Market inspiring young innovators, and now Praxis helping young adults launch successful lives without a college degree, our work is about connecting with people and transforming systems. Overton Insights amplifies that mission by adding a layer of precision we’ve never had before.

Here’s how it fits:

  • Guiding Policy: Our policy think tank, Libertas Institute, will use Overton Insights’ data to craft policies that align with what people are ready for, scaling our impact nationwide.
  • Sharpening Education: Family programs like the Tuttle Twins spark curiosity about freedom. Overton Insights will show us how families and communities respond, helping us refine our outreach.
  • Driving Cultural Shifts: While our educational efforts plant seeds for the long term, Overton Insights gives us real-time intel to move the Overton Window now—whether the data backs our views or not.

Think of the Libertas Network as a movement fueled by vision and action. Overton Insights is our lens—offering a transparent, accurate, and sometimes surprising view of where people are and where we can take them. With 15 years of combined polling experience already, the Overton Insights team is not just polling the present—we’re shaping the path to a freer future.

Libertas Network Acquires Praxis to Expand Alternative Education Opportunities https://libertas.org/libertas-network-acquires-praxis-to-expand-alternative-education-opportunities/ https://libertas.org/libertas-network-acquires-praxis-to-expand-alternative-education-opportunities/#respond Thu, 27 Feb 2025 02:45:51 +0000 https://libertas.org/?p=338 Libertas Network’s acquisition of Praxis ignites a bold revolution in education by empowering young innovators to bypass outdated systems and chart their own path to success.

The post Libertas Network Acquires Praxis to Expand Alternative Education Opportunities appeared first on Libertas Network: Changing Hearts, Minds, and Laws.

]]>

Today, we’re thrilled to announce a major milestone for Libertas Network: we have acquired Praxis Careers LLC, a pioneering force in alternative education. This acquisition marks a significant leap forward in our mission to empower ambitious young people by breaking down barriers to opportunity and reimagining how education can work in the 21st century. We’re excited to share why this is such a game-changer for us—and for the next generation of trailblazers.

Why Praxis Fits Our Mission

At Libertas Network, we’ve always believed that the traditional education system—rigid, expensive, and often disconnected from real-world needs—fails too many talented individuals. We champion alternative models that prioritize practical skills, personal initiative, and real opportunities over outdated credentials. Praxis has been doing exactly that since its inception, helping young people bypass the conventional conveyor belt of college debt and indoctrination to instead launch meaningful careers on their own terms.

The company has had an impressive track record:

  • Over 900 students served
  • 81% did not earn a Bachelor’s degree
  • $250,000 in average savings per student
  • $50,000 average starting income
  • 93% of students employed full time at graduation

By bringing Praxis into the Libertas family, we’re doubling down on our commitment to provide ambitious, self-directed individuals with the tools, networks, and experiences they need to thrive. Praxis’s proven model—combining intensive skill-building with direct access to innovative companies—perfectly complements our goal of dismantling barriers to entry and fostering a new kind of workforce. Together, we’re creating a platform where talent and drive matter more than pedigree or paperwork.

How We’ll Grow and Expand Praxis

This acquisition isn’t just about preserving what Praxis already does so well—it’s about taking it to the next level. Over the next few years, we have ambitious plans to grow and expand Praxis in ways that will amplify its impact and reach:

    1. Scaling the Program: We’ll increase the number of participants we can serve each year, opening doors for more young people to join this transformative experience. Expect bigger cohorts, more diverse opportunities, and a wider geographic footprint.
    2. Deepening Industry Connections: Libertas Network brings a robust network of forward-thinking companies and entrepreneurs. We’ll leverage these relationships to secure even more high-quality placements for Praxis participants, ensuring they land roles at cutting-edge organizations that value their skills and hustle.
    3. Enhancing the Curriculum: While Praxis’s hands-on, real-world focus is already top-notch, we’re exploring ways to integrate additional resources—like mentorship from Libertas leaders, advanced workshops, and tech-driven learning tools—to make the program even more dynamic.
    4. Entrepreneurship Program: Praxis focuses on helping young adults secure a well-paying job without needing to spend time and money pursuing an unnecessary degree. Some want to build their own business, and we’ll build out programming and support to help up and coming entrepreneurs launch—including providing back-office support and investment opportunities to get them off the ground.

This is just the beginning. With Libertas Network’s resources and vision, Praxis will evolve into an even more powerful engine for change, proving that education doesn’t need to follow a one-size-fits-all script.

Libertas Network’s president Connor Boyack said, “Bringing Praxis into the Libertas Network offers us the chance to supercharge a program that’s already changing lives and align it with our broader mission to rewrite the rules of opportunity. I can’t wait to see the incredible things our participants achieve as we build this future together. We’re going to 10x Praxis and create a large network of ambitious young people building better lives without barriers in the way.”

Praxis founder Isaac Morehouse said, “I can’t think of a better home for Praxis than Libertas Network. The Libertas team has built a national audience of families raising critically thinking children who seek alternatives to the K-12 and college conveyor belts—and that’s a perfect fit for Praxis. I couldn’t be happier!”

Looking Ahead

The acquisition of Praxis is more than a business move—it’s a statement of intent. At Libertas Network, we’re not content to tweak the edges of a broken system—we’re here to build something entirely new. With Praxis by our side, we’re one step closer to realizing the vivid vision we’ve laid out: a world where ambition and merit defines what’s possible. We’re here to break barriers and circumvent the conveyor belt. Life is too short to live by unnecessary and inefficient rules.

Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this journey. If you’re a young person ready to ditch the conveyor belt, or a company looking to hire bold, capable talent, we’d love to connect. Together, we’re redefining what education and opportunity can look like—and we’re just getting started.

Learn more about the acquisition and our goals for Praxis in this video from Connor.

Our Children’s Entrepreneur Market team carefully reviewed applications from 400 youth entrepreneurs vying for this year’s coveted scholarship program, where recipients receive between $250 and $1,000 to help them grow their micro-business.

153 recipients were ultimately selected to receive scholarships and nearly $75,000 was awarded to these outstanding youth entrepreneurs. These scholarships are more than just financial support; they’re a celebration of their hard work, creativity, and determination.

Since we launched this project in 2017, the Children’s Entrepreneur Market has been dedicated to providing a unique platform for kids to learn, grow, and thrive as young business owners. Expanding throughout the country—now in 26 states and growing quickly—we’re seeing hundreds of kids showcase their products, market their brands, and interact with the community. By awarding these scholarships, we hope to encourage them to keep reaching for their goals, fostering valuable skills that will serve them well into adulthood.

Our scholarships are intended to support our young entrepreneurs in expanding their businesses, investing in new materials and equipment, or bolstering their marketing efforts. These funds can also help ease the costs for those who might need a little extra help getting started, ensuring that all kids with an entrepreneurial spirit have the opportunity to shine.

Our scholarship program is made possible by the incredible generosity of our donors and sponsors. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps create opportunities for young entrepreneurs to follow their passions and develop invaluable skills. This year, their support allowed us to reach more kids than ever, providing the resources and encouragement they need to build confidence and take the first steps toward entrepreneurship.

While these youth entrepreneurs get to work on their business, we’re excited to make the 2025 scholarship program bigger and better than ever to serve many more of our amazing participants!

The post The Libertas Network Announces Rebrand and Reorganization appeared first on Libertas Network: Changing Hearts, Minds, and Laws.

Libertas Institute, our original organization, was founded in 2011 as a state-based think tank in Utah. More than a decade later, our work has evolved into a variety of innovative initiatives that don’t easily fit under that type of structure.

That’s why we’re excited to announce The Libertas Network—our new organizational vehicle to advance our various entrepreneurial and policy programs all designed to change hearts, minds, and laws to create a freer future.

The Libertas Network is our parent 501(c)3 under which we have the following entities:

  • Children’s Entrepreneur Market — our early-stage community engagement program to empower families with the ideas of free enterprise, introduce them to our ideas, and integrate them into our national network.
  • The Tuttle Twins — our flagship educational program, helping kids of all ages (and their parents!) learn the ideas of a free society.
  • Libertas Utah — our policy incubator, where we use our HQ state to develop first-in-the-nation policy reforms that we can then export to other states.
  • Libertas Institute — our national think tank where we help think tanks, grassroots groups, and elected officials in other states implement the policy reforms we’ve incubated. This is also where we build out our talent and engagement pipeline, using our national network of families to introduce them to and involve them in the activities of the organizations working to advance liberty in their state.
  • Libertas Press — our full-service publishing arm, producing dozens of books that have educated millions of people.

Over time, we anticipate adding more projects to The Libertas Network.

As indicated on our home page, we structure these various initiatives around our Pyramid of Impact, whereby we lead families from early exposure to our ideas all the way through engagement opportunities to help them put these ideas into practice in their community. It’s a family-focused, future-oriented endeavor that the freedom movement has long neglected and sorely needs.

And that’s where we’re going to focus—on this foundational niche, the family unit. We invite you to support this effort in whatever way works best for you, so that together we can create a freer future.

Half a century ago, only 1 in 20 Americans had to obtain a government permission slip (a license) to legally practice their chosen occupations. Today, that number stands at 1 in 3.

This dramatic expansion of occupational licensure has created a bureaucratic maze through which entrepreneurs and employees must traverse to provide for their families. And without appropriate restraints on government’s ability to regulate, these policies have gotten out of hand.

When the Institute for Justice released a report finding that Utah had the 13th most burdensome licensure regulations compared to other states, the Libertas Utah team began developing model legislation to fight back and help reduce the bureaucratic burden on workers.

As a result of the reforms we’ve pioneered with our legislative partners and several other stakeholders, the state is now the 49th most burdensome! This reduction in regulation saves workers time, money, and hassle. It’s good for them, good for the economy, and good to get the government out of the way.

Our national team at Libertas Institute now is able to help other states adopt similar reforms and reduce their regulatory burdens as well.

Some of these reforms include:

  • A reduction in the number of schooling hours required to get a license
  • Exempting certain professions entirely from licensure
  • Repealing licensure requirements and instead only requiring certification or registration
  • Expanding apprenticeship and other opportunities outside of expensive schools to obtain licensure
  • Reciprocal licensing to recognize people’s abilities and experience moving from other states or countries
  • Reduction in barriers for people with a criminal past
  • Expediting licensure avenues for members of military families relocating to a new state
  • Creating an ongoing process to review licensure burdens and limit them to matters pertaining only to public health or safety.

Life after a criminal conviction can be extremely difficult—even if the crime was relatively minor. With a glaring mark on their record, individuals with a criminal background will have a harder time securing a job, finding housing, and qualifying for loans for school or a car, for example.

When a person has completed their sentence and paid all of the necessary fines and fees, they shouldn’t have to be forever haunted by a past mistake. But removing a criminal record through the process of expungement can be burdensome, in cost and time, to the average individual—if they even know about the process at all..

In order to allow people to move forward with their lives, free from their past faults, our Libertas Utah team helped pioneer some innovative legislation that creates automatic expungements for the criminal records of individuals who have committed certain misdemeanors. For the crimes that qualify, courts automatically expunge the crimes so long as the individual has complied with their court-ordered terms. Quicker automatic expungements will also apply for individuals who were acquitted of a crime or had charges dropped.

The automatic expungements will also apply to most traffic infractions and misdemeanors after a certain period of time, allowing people to move past minor traffic crimes in addition to criminal history.

Automatic expungements like this can help thousands of people who have old criminal records looming over their lives by removing the record and freeing them of the burden of having to navigate the process themselves. Most importantly, it will rid them of their stained past on applications and background checks so they can have a fair chance at succeeding in life.

How would you like to get a haircut, a new cell phone, and delicious tacos at the same event? With the passage of our model legislation, that scenario now has the freedom to become a reality.

The Libertas Utah team innovated a policy reform that was sorely needed for small business owners with mobile businesses, such as barber shops, cell phone repair companies, beauty shops, shoe shops, pet groomers, tailors, and more—all of whom operate out of trucks they drive around town.

Across the country, these mobile business owners face significant regulatory barriers at the local level. As they operate in multiple locations and cities, they have to apply and pay for multiple permits, pass any required inspections, and navigate multiple regulatory processes unlike traditional brick-and-mortar or online establishments.

Under our law, mobile business owners no longer have to deal with a number of headaches. For example, once a mobile business has received their business license and any necessary inspections from one jurisdiction, they do not have to obtain new licenses for every city they wish to operate in. This dramatically cuts down on the time, money, and energy being spent by these startup entrepreneurs.

Our national team at Libertas Institute is now scaling this policy across the country, to help thousands of business owners have a better shot at success by removing the regulatory barriers standing in their path.
