I’m sorry but I don’t know… As I have said on here a few times, I’m no expert on Mac OS and all I’m soing is trying to point Mac users in a possible direction, I’m sorry this is not working for you.

I’m sorry it has not worked for you.

Just a thought though… Because the circuit that powers the LightScribe function in the drive is separate from the ‘normal’ drive functions you may have a working (read/write) drive but it has lost its functionality.

Have you tried the drive on another system? If not, if you can, give it a go.
