In the end it was a bit of custom code in the theme that the former agency of that client had added in 2019. And nobody noticed until now.

@dominik The data thing happened to me. I was so pissed, I asked for a refund. I had intended to just stop using it, after figuring it was not for me, but happy to help a developer with a tiny contribution. Then I spent a long time fixing that issue, and was mad by the end. Money is back.

@dominik I constantly switch back and forth between terminal and fork (for example). I enjoy giving both its time. It mostly depends on my mood

It might have been the specific MySQL version, who knows?I checked a different VM and it looks like that one isn’t keeping the binlogs around for that long.
