WSU LSAMP
Many WSU LSAMP students engage in mentored STEM research in their field of study. Here, LSAMP student Cecilia Diaz Alonzo analyzes a brain section while working in the neuroscience laboratory of Jon Davis.

About Our Program
WSU LSAMP was previously an NSF-sponsored program in the Division of Academic Engagement and Student Achievement (DAESA) in the provost’s office. We are now Leadership in STEM Through Applied Mentoring Programs, and we aim to expand access for all students to complete science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) majors. Providing support to students throughout all years of their undergraduate program, we promote that STEM disciplines are fields that are welcoming and open to all students.
