This contest is only open to NAF Academies within the Lenovo Scholar Network.

Entries must have been created as part of NAF's Lenovo Scholar Network program using MIT App Inventor. Each NAF academy in the Lenovo Scholar Network may submit two (2) apps to the national competition by Thursday, April 28, 2022.

Steps:

  • Register for the Hackathon. You can enter two projects under one account or each of the students/ teams can create their own profiles and projects. As long as your academy only submits two apps!
  • Review the judging rubric
  • Complete all the required sections for the project:
    • App name
    • Elevator pitch
    • The “here’s the whole story section” with our required section (## Inspiration, ## Our Solution, ## Challenges, ## Next Steps, ## Lessons Learned) 
    • Link to your app (either link from Google Play store or link to APK file) 
    • A photo of your team, and
    • A video that shows how your app works.
  • Proofread your submission and review the rubric again to make sure addressed all the areas against which your app will be reviewed.
  • Test the links
  • Submit your project to this Hackathon
