It’s like NEON radioactive green in person, the camera does not do it justice. It’s so beautifully designed! The music sounds fantastic and the exclusive songs were so amazing! I drew the sketch above while I was listening to the tape, and it was a really nice experience. I enjoyed making art while listening to art!  Anyway, if you read this far, it’s time for you to go check out mad routine’s SICK ass website, and listen to their Insomniac EP, which is available to stream right there on their site, 100% for free! (Or on streaming services of course… but rather you listen to it on their site. Or actually, buy it on cassette or digital download!) We gotta support the real, hard-working artists of this world, and mad routine is definitely up there as one of the coolest bands ever. Not just for their music, but for their efforts in bringing back physical media, hand-making and upcycling their merch, making whole MOVIES for each EP they release, hosting their own old-school website, and combining their music into a really cool story about a band trying to make it in the 90s without the backing of a label! A sketch I drew of V while listening to mad routine‘s new EP “Insomniac” on cassette tape!!! My tape finally came and I was SO excited to sit down and listen to it. There’s four exclusive songs on the tape’s B-side that are ONLY available to listen to if you have the tape. There’s no way to listen to it digitally or online or anything! Which I think is actually super cool cause it incentivizes people to get into physical media!

My Silver Play Button!!

On January 24, 2026 I reached 100,000 subscribers on YouTube!!!!!

What an incredible milestone, and I’m so so happy and thankful to have reached it. I couldn’t have done it without all of my wonderful subscribers and supporters :3

A couple weeks after reaching 100k, YouTube sent me my silver play button!

]]> the cassette deck + laptop setup for making my cyberpunk mixtape! this was my first time recording onto tape with linux on my laptop, which kinda messed up my established process that i figured out from my last tape recording, but i managed to figure it out again!

it was pretty cool to be able to make my cyberpunk themed tape on a linux machine. its pretty cyberpunk ^_^

the tape turned out really cool – just a collection of different songs that remind me of the genre as a whole. side a features more electronic tracks while side b transitions into rock and metal. i’ll show the tape in my next post! i had a lot of fun customizing that one!

]]> EPIC CASSETTE TAPE UPDATE!!! i got a tape deck for christmas EHHEHE and once my adapter cable comes in the mail i can start recording some mixtapes!! i have three blank tapes i wanna make into something awesome. i have plans for a twenty one pilots mixtape. also my newest cassette finally came, breaking benjamin’s phobia album! its AWESOME and i love it! very happy with my collection so far. i plan on filling out the storage case (that i also got as a gift, which holds 36 tapes) and then maybe thatll be it… we shall see once i get there. :3

Now that it’s December, I’m taking some time off commissions so I can draw some personal art again! So I drew Josh Dun from Twenty One Pilots. I was gonna draw some of my OCs, but I drew like 3 different sketches and they all SUCKED so I instead decided to draw this picture that I had open on my web browser for a good couple months, so here it is! A very rough drawing of Josh Dun. I really like how it turned out, and I was doing a bit of a different technique as well, opting for a painterly look with rough shapes and edges.

Btw, I really gotta try out that eyeshadow look. I love it so much (but maybe with purple instead, or a nice saturated deep blue?)
