This is the album, called Possibilites. The rest of it is mixed except for a song with John Mayer which is pretty fun. It’s a little more poppy than I usually like Herbie Hancock. Reply
not sure where the second part of the line comes from, but the first is a rip from shakespeare’s sonnet 130. i love sting but man he shamelessly steals. Reply
Ummm… that line is so extremely well known that it’s unlikely Sting thought of it as ‘stealing’, more like homage/sampling/re-usage. Reply
Matt, thanks for reminding me about Sting’s jazzier times. The double live album Bring on the Night is in my top five ever. Reply
Semja — ORIGINALLY, Sting recorded it on an album called “…Nothing Like the Sun”, which IMHO was his best one. Reply
I understand that Sting and Herbie will be performing this song on tomorrow’s (Dec 7 2005) Good Morning America. Reply
Marvelous song! From what albom does it come?

Well if you’re going to steal, it might as well be from the best. 🙂
