The most amazing solutions is that when this happens, I just sit up and WRITE IT ALL DOWN. I usually just do this on my phone as a Gmail draft. It doesn’t have to be fully organized and articulated, just the sparks of inspiration or the thoughts on things I’m working on that I have spontaneous great ideas about. I write them all down. Once I’ve done that, like magic, I’m able to easily drift back to sleep with the solace that I can revisit that inspiration with clarity the next day.

I’ve long thought it, combined with ActivityPub/IndyWeb/POSSE things could be really interesting and rounding it out with some post formats. I want to start my status, video, photos, even “reels” in WordPress and POSSE out. Links within my posts could follow XFN in our revival of the blogging web, but it’s never been really accessible to the bloggers.
