Introduction
We will provide you with a dataset and a jupyter notebook, showing how to handle the dataset and train a model. This should give you a good starting point even if you are unfamiliar with Remote Sensing data or Machine Learning.
Tools and Technologies
- Programming: You can use a language of your choice, e.g. Python is providing good support in Remote Sensing and Machine Learning
- Remote Sensing: The dataset contains satellite imagery (DEMs, Landuse and Landcover, the river network, rainfall data)
- Physics-aware machine learning: Choose your favourite technique to incorporate relevant physical laws into your machine learning model
