I bought two of the 48 ounce Nalgene bottles about 4 years ago, they are without a doubt the best bottle of this type on the market. I use them when I go bike camping, which is quite a bit. They’ve been through a lot and are still going strong like they did when they were new. I have experienced zero problems. Of course it is a larger bottle, it does go into a special fork mounted adjustable water bottle cage called a Arundel Looney Bin Cage, that cage is at it’s maximum opening capabilites to accept the bottle with just enough room to be able to tighten the adjustment a couple of clicks so the bottle won’t come out on a rough bump.

Easy to drink from with a wide mouth bottle, snap works well.
But the silicone seal gets moldy.
***Please sell the seal as a spare part!!!***

I like it okay, but is the lid supposed to come with a straw attachment to reach the bottom of the bottle (mine did not) or am I supposed to turn the bottle upside down and drink it like a hamster (lol) when using the straw feature?

This water bottle works immensely well. I’ve been using it regularly for four to five years now and it still works. No leaks, no dents. The “Nalgene” logo washed off with time, but I’m comfortable with that. I highly, highly recommend this water bottle. I hope you have a lovely day!!!

I have had a number of these over the years. I really like the design but minus one star because they have still not figured out a way to stop the silicone plug that seals the mouth from getting gross. Over time, mould starts growing in the little space inside the plug, and you have to pry it out and sanitize it periodically. I think the plug should be glued in place at the factory so mould can’t get in in the first place.

Does not glow, at all. Even when holding a light to the bottle, it returns to this color immediately after. Very disappointed.

I have used my glow in the dark 1 liter bottle everyday for more than 10 years. While it’s a bit scuffed, it’s still glows nicely when I search for it at night. I’m not much of a consumer, I will use this bottle until it is absolutely destroyed, but when it is I will buy another one.
