Northern Academy offers a comprehensive AR (A Restricted) truck training program tailored for individuals aiming to operate automatic transmission commercial vehicles. This program is particularly suited for those interested in roles that involve driving dump trucks, garbage trucks, or snowplows, where manual transmission proficiency is not required.
Admission Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older, Must have minimum Grade 10 English (or equivalent), Must hold a valid Ontario Class G license or Higher, MTO Medical that meets the vision, hearing and medical requirements for a class A licence, Drivers Abstract.
We pride ourselves on the success of our Students and each of our Students will be signed up for the Ontario Apprenticeship Program. We have a 98% Employment rate with our students.
