Creating a whiteboard video is incredibly simple and can be done in just five steps!

Step 1: Create a New Project & Choose Whiteboard

From the Dashboard, select “Create from Scratch” and switch to “Whiteboard Animation.” Then, choose your project size (Horizontal, Vertical, or Square).

Step 2: Add Characters & Action

After that, go to the Character section and add the character you would like to use.

And animate the character by changing “Actions.”

Step 3: Add Whiteboard Background:

Next, go to the BG section and select a suitable background for your video.

Step 4: Add Props & Text

Detail your scene by adding props and scaling it accordingly.

Next, go to the Text section and choose a textbox to add your content. You can then scale and adjust the text as needed.

Create a New Project: In the Dashboard, under the Create Project section, select the video size (Horizontal, Vertical, or Square), then choose a blank project to start.

Add Your Music Track/ Voiceovers: You have two choices here. You can either upload your music track or upload a voiceover.

A) Uploading Your Music Track

To upload your music track, go to the “Music” section and click on the “expand” icon!

You can either upload your desired audio track by clicking on the “Upload” button or choose from Animaker’s extensive music collection.

On the other hand, in case you would like to upload a voiceover, follow these steps.

B) Upload a Voiceover

To add Voiceover to your scene, click on the ‘mic’ icon in the Menu Bar at the bottom.

Choose "Upload Voiceover" to upload your audio file from your device.

3. Add Music Visualizer: Once you've uploaded your audio track, navigate to the Property Section and click on "Expand".

The “Visualizer” category appears at the top. Click "View All" to check out the different visualizer styles.

And from the different styles, select the visualizer style that matches your project's vibe.

Here’s an example of how it would look after you add it to your workspace.

You can further adjust the control of the visualizer from the settings on your left.

Incase the audio is only intended for part of a scene, you can adjust the music visualizer to match this. Simply select the visualizer and drag its edges on the timeline to fit the duration of the audio.

And to preview it, click on the preview button at the top!

How to add animated Subtitles to your video using Animaker’s AI Powered Auto-Subtitle Generator?

Open the Subtitle Generator from Animaker Dashboard to upload your video and generate Subtitles.

Once you’ve added the Subtitles, select the ‘Styles’ option to format the Subtitles by customizing the font, text effects, alignment and so on. Once you’ve customized the Subtitle style, scroll down to the ‘Animation’ section and select it.

Once you’ve selected the Animation option, you can see 11 new Animation styles that you can add it to your Subtitles. Once you find it, Click on ‘view all’ to get an extended list of options.

Choose from 150+ unique Grid styles and add the one you want to use to your workspace by clicking on it.

The Grid will automatically adjust to the video project’s aspect ratio.

Step 2: Now, add images or videos, or GIFs to the Grid. You can pick media from the Animaker’s stock assets or use your own media files by uploading them from your PC/Laptop to Animaker.

Gently drag and simply drop media files over the Grid. The image/video/GIF will automatically adjust & fit by itself according to the layout.

You can also add solid or gradient colors to the Grids.

Step 3: Customize the Corners and the gaps in the Grid as per your need.
