hey there, I'd check your security & privacy settings in System Preferences. System Preferences > Security and Privacy > General and where it says "Allow apps downloaded from:" unlock the security lock, try to open FNF then when security auto blocks it, click allow FNF to run then you should be able to. Mac doesn't like people playing "homebrew" games (even though it's a properly developed game just by an indie developer)

there’s no real updater of any sort, I just downloaded the new version of the game from the download link, and no worries! I’m not bothered, I’m happy to help. 

I notice a bunch of people asking for stuff (myself included i made a post ree-ing about mac's lack of week 6 and they've updated it!)
