That’s a wrap on Gulfood – The World’s Biggest F&B Event!

After five full days of great conversations about the dairy market, meeting new people and catching up with familiar faces, we’re heading home with a lot of energy (and maybe slightly tired feet).

Thanks to everyone who stopped by: customers, suppliers and partners. We really appreciate the time taken to connect with us. We’ll be following up with you in the next few weeks and we’re looking forward to continuing the conversations.

Numidia BV to support marketing & sales for Riverview LLP’s new milk processing plant

Numidia and Riverview have established a strategic relationship under which Numidia will provide marketing and logistics support for Riverview’s new state-of-the-art milk processing facility in Morris, Minnesota. Scheduled to commence operations in 2028, the plant’s commercial activities – including global sales, marketing, distribution, and logistics – will be coordinated in partnership with Numidia.

The production facility will produce nonfat dry milk (NFDM) and skimmed milk powder (SMP) and is designed to manufacture multiple specifications with maximum efficiency, ensuring flexibility and reliability for customers.

“The opportunity with Riverview brings together two companies committed to entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable growth,” said Han van Hagen, CEO of Numidia B.V. “By expanding our supply base in the U.S. with compatible and privately owned partners, we are strengthening the foundation for long-term value creation for our customers.”

“It was important for us to align with a company that has a strong global footprint,” said Matthew Wulf of Riverview LLP. “Like Riverview, Numidia’s founders and owners are deeply engaged in the business. We’re pleased to be working with them on our initial offtake agreement.” The new plant will serve customers around the world with a focus on efficiency, product quality, and responsible operations.

We are happy to announce that Rinse Elsinga and Blandine Lion have relocated from Herten to Dallas to strengthen the US team and further develop our Americas footprint. Numidia would like to expand the business in the USA into all dairy related products.

Rinse has been working with NUMIDIA BV since 2015. He is in charge of the global risk and physical products position management. This means making sure we stay within our risk policies and make the most out of trade opportunities across products and continents. In the USA, his focus will be on further business development within the domestic market and continuing to manage the global risk and positions.

Blandine joined in 2020 and has been in charge of the French speaking markets and managing our European butter order book. Her focus will be on business development in the US and Canada and supporting our skimmed milk powder business.

Both are excited to have been given the opportunity to work in our Dallas office and believe this is a great opportunity for their and Numidia’s development. They pointed out that they hope to continue the already great developments made by the US team so far, and that they expand the network, both professionally and personally.

We wish Rinse and Blandine good luck with these new steps in their careers!

The last 2 weeks our office in the Netherlands has been buzzing with the presence of the colleagues from ALL the Numidia locations.
For the past few years,  Numidia BV has been investing in bringing the worldwide team closer and getting to know each other better, to build a strong and cohesive tribe of Numidians.

NUMIDIA AND DMK EXTEND THEIR STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP TO A LONG-TERM COLLABORATION

After a successful start of the partnership in April 2023 between NUMIDIA BV and DMK Deutsches Milchkontor GmbH for the distribution and production of Instant Fat Filled Powders under brand names NUMIGOLD and AMINA, both parties signed an agreement on 8 November 2023 to elevate the partnership to a long-term collaboration of the existing Instant Fat Filled Powders distribution, and expand the product portfolio with Whey Powders for the Food and Feed market, Fat Filled Whey Powders as well as Whey Permeates.
DMK is Germany’s largest dairy cooperative, with many years of experience in processing #dairy. The state-of-the-art facilities of DMK are the perfect manufacturing partner for the strong customer base of NUMIDIA’s NUMIGOLD and AMINA brands.

Sierk Weisser-Krepetin (Commercial Director Business Unit Industry, DMK) and Han van Hagen (CEO NUMIDIA BV) both indicated to be proud of the success of their cooperation.
