Community Profile

What we are:
A hybrid music pimping/writing challenge community. Songs, themed playlists, and writing games will be posted by your humble admins. If you hear something you want to write to, please do! And feel free to post it here!

Music Guidelines:
At the beginning of the month, one of your admins will post links to music for you to create art/fic to, if you feel so inclined. There may be multiple posts during the month; we're working out the schedule for that, along with some sidequests and minigames for the challenge-hounds among you. In the interest of keeping things orderly, there will also be a mid-monthly post where you can leave links to your own suggestions in the comments; these songs will, of course, be just as "kosher" to produce art/fic to as anything the admins post.

Challenge Guidelines:
- We are pro-everything. We are everything-friendly. Slash, het, poly, gen, fanfic, origfic...anything goes.
- We ask that you therefore either exercise politeness or exercise your back button. If something isn't your cup of tea, don't read it. You will not be reminded twice.
- Therefore, we do ask that you warn! If you're not sure whether your work needs a warning or not, ask. (But if you have to ask, let's face it, someone out there is probably going to think the answer is "yes.")
- The body of your fic and the full version of your art should be placed under a cut, with headers/descriptions above the cut. Thumbnails above the cut are fine.

Length/Sketchiness/Time Limit:
Fics can be any length, from drabbles to novels. Art should not be on lined paper, but anything from a sketch to a masterwork on the ceiling of an antique cathedral is welcome. There is no time limit; if you come to a post late or don't finish your work before the end of the month, you can post it anytime. No pressure. You may not have muses for a song now, but there's new fandoms around every corner, and maybe something that doesn't ping you today will ping you tomorrow!
