Participant Eligibility:

Must be a high school student (grades 9-12)

Incoming and just-graduated students are eligible to participate

Must have registered through the Google Form and Devpost prior to the event
Guidelines:

No non-original work can be submitted to OneHacks
-
Submission will be a 3-5 minute video, as well as a GitHub link with your project code
-
Submit video link (YouTube, Vimeo, etc) to Devpost
-
Explain project and idea in the video
-
Upload your code to GitHub
-
Demo your project
-
Declare AI Usage
General Rules:

Treat all of your fellow competitors with respect and integrity
-
Do not attempt to cheat or steal other’s projects in any way
-
Build project within this time frame
-
You can use previous functions, but don’t copy completely from previous projects

Do your best to create a new original project
-
Cross-posting is allowed only if project is started within OneHacks IV hacking period

No non-original work can be submitted to OneHacks

Non-original work will be disqualified

Usage of outside resources for documentation and reference purposes is permitted
AI Guidelines:

Usage of AI in assisting with project development is permitted as long as it is mentioned in the project submission video.

If your project includes custom Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence, it must be coded and trained (being aware of unconscious bias) by your team within the 7-day coding window
-
If you are training your ML software, all sources of training data and resources you consulted must be provided (e.g. video training tutorials)

Usage of an API connecting to services such as OpenAI is permitted
