I am an applied researcher investigating the intersection of computing, human-system interfaces, and the political economy of software. I am interested in the potential of computing as a medium for thought, as a tool for collective action, and as a means of emancipation. My current focus is on malleable software and understanding our mode of software production.
My work
I am a researcher at Ink & Switch and the Liberatory Computing collective, ¼ of Tentpole, ½ of folkjs, occasional collaborator with ECSA and a co-organiser of the OCWG. Previously a senior researcher at Block Science and engineer at websim + tldraw.
