Choose a track and create a solution for an existing problem in one of our four tracks: Education, Sustainability, Finance, and Healthcare. All solutions must relate to social good. 

Requirements

  • Submit your hack by 11/20 10AM PDT and make sure to add your teammates! You'll have until 11AM to continue hacking and editing your submission, but the project must be submitted by 10 AM.
  • Include an image of your project and GitHub repository for any code to be considered.
  • Continuing projects and cross-posted submissions will not be accepted.

Judging Criteria

  • Innovation
    How creative is the problem which this product aims to solve? How unique is the solution to this problem?
  • Scalability
    How much real-world application does this product have? Is there reasonable room for it to be improved for user benefit and use? Is the idea/product helpful and accessible to a large amount of people? Can changes be implemented if necessary?
  • Feasibility
    Would this product be compelling to use and actually addresses its target problem? How easily is this product implemented? Is the UI/UX clean and simple to understand? Is this product able to be used without extensive background knowledge?
  • Presentation Delivery
    How cleanly was the product pitch presented? Was the idea appealing and a useful solution for its track?
  • Technical Soundness
    Is there a final, deliverable product (either in form of hardware, software, or prototype)? Is the product functional? Is there a demonstration of how it works?
