Papa Inc. requires strong passwords. The following are our organization's Password Policy requirements:
- OS passwords must be at least eight (8) characters
- Passwords should include a mix of letters, numbers, and special characters (punctuation marks and symbols), as well as a mix of upper and lower-case characters
- Passwords must be rotated at least every 90 days
- Systems is configured to prevent users from re-using their last 24 passwords
- Passwords for any system accounts must be changed whenever there is any indication of password compromise
- Users must not disclose their passwords to anyone
- Users must not write down their passwords or leave them unsecured
- Users must not use the same password for different systems and/or accounts
- Users should not send passwords via email or any “clear text” platform
Papa Inc. prohibits sharing, writing down, or sending passwords via unencrypted channels.
Passwords are encrypted regardless of storage location.
