Printmaking Workshop

Join us for an hour and a half at nine lives vintage as we stamp and create whatever our hearts desire! 🕊️ In this hands-on print making workshop, will spend quality time crafting a custom design and carving it onto a 3X4 inch linoleum stamp. Once your design is ready, you’ll print it onto paper, cards, or clothing. You are more than welcome to bring your own materials to stamp on, however we will be providing: -a 3 x 4“ linoleum block -Carving tools and markers to share -Paper for printing -Multicolored ink for paper and clothing Please bring: -your own materials to stamp on: notebook, paper, tote bags, or any light color blanks (black ink shows best on light fabric). -clothes your comfortable getting ink on -water for you to drink <3 You’ll leave with basic block printing knowledge, friends and fellow creatives in the area, your own custom stamp, and everything you print during the workshop so the art keeps going even after the night ends! Make sure you wear or bring clothes you’re OK with getting a little inky and be sure to bring an open mind and heart as we carve and create the night away!👩‍🎨🫶🪩 Cancellation Policy To reserve your spot, a $25 payment is required via Venmo. This payment secures your place at the event and is non-refundable. Because space is limited and spots are held once payment is received, cancellations or no-shows cannot be refunded. If you can no longer attend, you are welcome to transfer your spot to a friend—just let us know in advance. ASSUMPTION OF RISK: You confirm that you are in adequate physical health to participate and have consulted a physician if you have any health conditions, injuries, or concerns. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY: You are solely responsible for your own health, safety, and wellness during this event. You agree to listen to your body, modify or rest as needed, and inform the instructor of any injuries or limitations before class begins. 4. PHOTO & VIDEO CONSENT: A photographer and videographer will be present during this event. By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed and grant Gracie Vanderlaan and 9 Lives Vintage permission to use such content for promotional purposes on social media and marketing materials. 5. This month’s Club will feature the collaboration project of progressive jazz artists, STARMAKER, and jazz pianist, composer, producer KIEFER. There will be an open jam after our main performance for the community to close out the night. PERFORMANCES BY KIEFER & STARMAKER KIEFER is a Los Angeles–based pianist, producer, and composer whose music bridges jazz improvisation and hip-hop beat culture. A UCLA-trained musician with deep roots in jazz, Kiefer blends expressive piano with warm analog textures and groove-driven rhythms. He has collaborated with artists including Anderson .Paak and continues to shape the sound of modern jazz through his soulful, genre-bending work. STARMAKER is an LA-based collaboration of songwriters and instrumentalists focused on crafting progressive textures, story-driven compositions, and improvisational moments. They pull from diverse influences in contemporary jazz, hip-hop, and electronic music.
