About the challenge

Do you want to build a dApp that seems impossible? Looking for a blockchain that aims to challenge what you can do as a developer?

Built on top of 35 years of research and 15 years of practical implementation, Partisia Blockchain is the world's first blockchain that blends research based privacy technology (MPC) with a scalable and interoperable blockchain architecture. If you are looking for a challenging project that will take your perspective on trust, design and product skills to the next level, take on this hackathon challenge!

See for yourself how to make what is impossible on other blockchains possible through our hackathon.
Check out our overview slides for more details!

Requirements

What to build

As a part of the hackathon, you must create or update an app that utilizes Partisia Blockchain and can harness the power of all of our 3 value propositions (privacy, interoperability, or scalability).

  • You must have a functional MVP to be eligible.
  • You can visit the Inspiration tab for ideas on what to build.

How to build

Everything you need to build your submission is available in a codespace at the DApp Playground. You can fork the playground and deliver your open source code through that!

What to Submit

  • Provide a public URL to the code repository for judging.
    • Open source solutions only
  • Provide a public URL to the deployed app if applicable.
  • Include a README that describes what you are solving, how to use the solution and/or how to deploy your smart contract.
  • If you have an example contract deployed you need to submit the URL from the browser (https://browser.testnet.partisiablockchain.com/ or https://browser.partisiablockchain.com/) to the deployed smart contract.

  • If you developed an app you need to provide an environment or a public URL where we can run the deployed application.

  • Include a video (no more than 3 minutes) that demonstrates your submission. Videos must be uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo, or Facebook Video and made public.
  • The completed submission form on Devpost before the deadline.
