It was a pleasure for the Polish Canadian Chamber of Commerce to be part of  inspiring Soirée Francophone 2026 in Warsaw, bringing together a vibrant and open-minded community. The evening was filled with engaging conversations, new connections, and a shared appreciation for culture, dialogue, and collaboration.

Events like this remind us how important language is—not only as a tool for communication, but as a bridge between people, perspectives, and business communities.

A highlight of the evening was the address by H.E. Ambassador Catherine Godin, who emphasized the importance of the Poland–Canada Strategic Partnership announced last year by Prime Ministers Mark Carney and Donald Tusk. Her remarks clearly underlined the growing strength and future potential of bilateral relations.

We were also honored by the presence of Parliamentary Secretary Yasir Naqvi, whose words reflected great enthusiasm and appreciation for Poland as a key partner. The event was officially opened by Bernhard L. Otterstein, President of the PCCC, who warmly welcomed all guests.

The discussion clearly confirmed a shared ambition: to move from dialogue to concrete projects. We focused on building real business partnerships, strengthening the supply chain, and enabling early engagement of companies in energy transition projects in Poland and the region.

A strong emphasis was placed on collaboration within “Team Canada” and creating project-based configurations that combine Canadian technology, Polish execution, and international financing.

This is just the beginning—but a very focused one. 

Guests enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere filled with green lights, excellent dishes and Irish beverages—adding a festive touch to every conversation. The night was further elevated by beautiful live music and an energetic Irish dance performance on stage, which brought a true spirit of Ireland to Warsaw.
