research
My research interest is still not fully concrete (the case
with all undergraduate students considering graduate studies). But generally, I am interested
in:
- Wearable systems that you can't
distinguish from clothing or normal accessories.
- For example, textile-based sensors and haptics.
- Non-traditional Computer or AI Input and Output.
- EMG, BCI, gesture based controls that don't need traditional button inputs.
- Non-traditional (eg. not text or audio) AI output like EMS, Olfactory, Temperature.
- Human Sensory and Nervous System Modulation
- How do you augment humans by enhancing senses?
- How many haptic and sensory devices can I possibly attach to a XR headset to make it more realistic?
- Hidden wearable haptics + sensors (basically ubiquitous computing)
- How can we embed haptic devices into clothing or everyday wearables?
- How can these devices be used for interactions that are non-perceptible and seamless?
