Pickle Dance is brought to you by Geese Coder & Charlie Bizarre. Born from a shared love of bass culture and experimental sound design, the label celebrates all things dubby, wubby and weird. With two tracks from each producer comes the inaugural EP - Breeze.

‘Catch Zs’ opens the release on washed out dub chords, building to a deep rolling bassline among sharp, spiralling synths and a sparse, disorienting breakdown. One for the soundsystem.

‘Garden Sitting’ is named after the community gardens at Tempelhofer Feld, where the idea for Pickle Dance was hatched. It’s dystopian yet familiar - a sonic playground that Geese Coder is right at home in.

Next, we have the pounding kicks of ‘Old and New Friends’. The bassline grooves in low end wobbles and warps, while the vocal chops take you somewhere alien.

Lastly, ‘Soon’ eases you in with soft flutes before luring you onto the dancefloor with skittering breaks and pulsing bass. The track is stripped-back and otherworldly, its arpeggiated melodies evoking a sense of nostalgia.
