We had the pleasure of partnering with the City Hall of Montpellier by welcoming in our headquarters 16 students from creative schools across the city. 

Following a special video greeting from CEO Francis Ingrand, who was in San Francisco for Game Developers Conference, the students got a special tour of the villa by Mahdi Attemane and Ondine Guiho, thus meeting and interacting with the teams of  Plug In Digital and Dear Villagers. They even received a game of their choice from the Dear Villagers catalogue as a gift! 🎁

🤝 We wish much luck to all the students we got to meet and we look forward to deepening our long-standing partnership with the city of Montpellier!

Montpellier, France – Plug In Digital, a leading global video game publisher and distributor, is thrilled to announce the acquisition of long-time business partner PixelRatio, a video game development studio based in Mérida, Spain. This strategic acquisition marks a significant milestone in Plug In Digital’s mission to expand its development capabilities and deliver solid gaming experiences to players worldwide with quality ports of games on multiple devices, especially mobile platforms. 

A Long-Time Partnership 

Founded in 2011, PixelRatio has established itself as a versatile and innovative studio with a rich history of developing, optimizing and porting high-quality games across various platforms, with a renowned expertise in the fields of UI/UX optimization for mobile and consoles, as well as VR. PixelRatio’s portfolio includes development efforts for titles such as Fleet Commander and Hispania on PC for Avalon Digital, as well as porting several mobile and console titles published by Plug in Digital’s label Dear Villagers such as MindCop and Revita, alongside other upcoming titles.

We are very grateful to all members of the Academy who chose this game among many other gems to receive the Best 1st Game and Best Indie Game awards this year.

🌿 Members of the jury of the Pégases are video game professionals from France and we’re very proud of this recognizion of PLANE TOAST’s work alongside our publishing teams from our peers around the country. That’s another great win for the South of France, as both Caravan SandWitch’s studio and its publisher are based there!
