Ondas announced today that its subsidiary Sentrycs | Counter-Drone Solutions Adapting at the Speed of Threats supported airspace protection at the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos as part of Swisscom Broadcast’s DroneDefence deployment. Integrated within a multi-sensor, multi-technology architecture, Sentrycs’ Cyber-over-RF platform enabled early detection, identification, and controlled mitigation of drone activity under demanding operational conditions. The system supported continuous monitoring and a structured operational response aligned with regulatory requirements. Ondas and Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG have formed ONBERG Autonomous Systems, establishing a joint venture to deliver autonomous drone defense systems across Germany, Ukraine, and broader European markets. The partnership combines Ondas Autonomous Systems’ counter-UAS and ISR technologies with Heidelberg’s industrial scale, precision engineering, and established European manufacturing infrastructure. ONBERG is structured to support localized production, deployment, and long-term development of autonomous defense systems aligned with European operational requirements. Initial efforts will focus on deploying proven platforms such as Iron Drone Raider while building toward localized assembly and full-scale manufacturing. Ondas has acquired INDO Earth Moving Ltd., positioning the company to leverage an initial $140 million military engineering vehicle program as prime contractor for a major defense customer. The program includes the supply of heavy tracked engineering platforms along with long-term maintenance, logistics, and operational support. The acquisition expands Ondas’ autonomous ground systems portfolio and introduces a new category of robotic heavy engineering platforms. Ondas has completed the acquisition of Rotron Aerospace Ltd., strengthening its capabilities in advanced propulsion technologies and long-range unmanned aircraft platforms. Rotron brings specialized aero-engine engineering, VTOL aircraft design, and autonomous aerial platforms that expand the endurance, range, and operational flexibility of next-generation unmanned systems designed for defense and security missions. Palantir Technologies, Ondas, and World View announced a strategic partnership to develop a new generation of AI-enabled multi-domain intelligence capabilities. Ondas announced the acquisition of BIRD Aerosystems, a global developer of airborne missile protection systems and airborne ISR solutions for military and government operators.
