About Me

I am a PhD student at the Faculty of Informatics, Università della Svizzera italiana, supervised by Prof. Déborah Sulem and Prof. Antonietta Mira.

I completed my Integrated M.Sc. in Mathematics from NIT Surat, India in 2024 where I graduated with a gold medal. I wrote my master's thesis on Uniformly Convex Regularisers in High-dimensional Optimisation, which I developed during an internship at the IOL Lab, Zuse Institute Berlin (ZIB).

Previously, I worked as a research assistant at IIM Udaipur on stochastic inventory management and interned at the Institute for Mathematical Stochastics, TU Braunschweig, supported by a DAAD-WISE scholarship.

Research

Research interests:

I am currently working on nearest neighbour based statistics or rank based statistics of association. In particular, I am interested in studying the probability distribution of random nearest neighbour graphs.

Apart from this, I am also interested in statistical learning theory and generalization bounds for distribution shifts.

Teaching:

Teaching Assistant for

  • Analysis of Social Networks (Fall 2025)
  • Optimization Methods (Spring 2026)
