Congratulations to the Assiniboine Park Conservancy (APC)! The Leaf “Biomes” are truly a Tropical and Mediterranean Paradise in the heart of Winnipeg, Manitoba! PSB Integration is very proud to be associated with this project, providing lighting control, AV, Security, Paging and Digital Signage Systems. Thank you APC, McCaine Electric,and Bird Construction for choosing PSB! Thanks goes also to SMS Engineering and Mulvey Banani for their design and coordination efforts. Most of all, a huge thanks to our PSB Integration team for your hard work, long hours and dedication to move this project across the finish line!

Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada – Update

As promised here is a follow up post and some images taken at today’s opening ceremonies at the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada. The Ghost of Charron Lake exhibit is a must see both from a story perspective & tech perspective. The aircraft was found and recovered nearly 75 years after being submerged in this Northern Manitoba Lake. The exhibit features the wreckage of the plane with the illusion of it being under water. The asymmetrical projection screen using multiple, edge blended laser projectors combined with stunning content help tell this remarkable story! Multiple other exhibits feature sound and video to help tell stories and bring various artifacts to life.

Thanks again to the Museum for choosing PSB Integration as their Exhibit AV and Control Systems partner! We are absolutely thrilled to be part of this signature facility! A huge thanks to all of our team members that had a role to play in executing this project. This is a museum rich with aviation history and a must see for all Winnipeggers and visitors to our city. The museum is now open to the general public.

Very pleased to see this document launched, and very proud to be involved with its creation as Chair of the ICT Committee at the Winnipeg Construction Association. Special thanks to John Schubert, Jeff Olafson, Darryl Harrison, Jacqueline Gershman and the entire committee for pulling this together! It’s a great resource document that emphasizes the important role the low voltage integration industry plays in modern building construction.

Inuit Art Center (Qaumajuq) at the Winnipeg Art Gallery

PSB Integration is very proud to be involved with the construction of the Inuit Art Center (Qaumajuq) addition to the Winnipeg Art Gallery. This building is an architectural center piece in downtown Winnipeg featuring one of the largest collections of Inuit Art in the world! Our firm was hired to supply and integrate various AV Systems, Security and most visibly an outdoor projection system covering the facade above the main entrance of the building. The WAG is a must see attraction for visitors to Winnipeg! Thank you to the WAG, PCL Constructors, Wescan Electrical for your confidence in our company and to our PSB staff to make the technogy aspect of this building come to life!

Team Update

This is a team photo we have been anxious to take! Waiting on better weather (we certainly have that) and loosening of COVID restrictions.. … we now have both! Although distancing and masking is still part of this picture, we hope to be able to take a retake soon without masks and distancing measures in place. To all my friends and associates, It is with great pleasure that I announce the launch of PSB Integration, formerly Advance Pro!

I have dedicated the past 24 years of my life to this division of Advance Electronics, so it is with great excitement that I now rededicate my energy and efforts, as President and 100% owner of PSB Integration. I look forward to continuing to lead our entire staff, as we collectively reach for new heights and achievements in the commercial electronics integration business!

Operationally our company remains the same, and we will continue to offer the same diverse range of design and integration services in the Greater Winnipeg Metropolitan area, the Province of Manitoba and beyond.

Thanks to all our customers, suppliers, trade and design community partners, for all your support! We look forward to working with you for many more years to come!

Finally, thank you to the entire PSB Staff, without your support and hard work we would have not achieved the successes we have had!
