Thanks for your support, Liz! The College has not offered any compensation to cover internet costs for employees. They have, however, offered to help faculty members who do not have internet access gain access to the web. Negotiations will continue, though, and I’ll bring this point up.

Buffi, we will look at these numbers as we begin preparing for our open-book negotiations next academic year. Right now, we’re only able to negotiate impacts brought on by our new working conditions. Since the courses you referenced had large class sizes before the pandemic, we cannot address that at this point. Do keep us posted of any changes–particularly increases–to your class sizes, though. Cassandra, our agreement doesn’t prevent a faculty member from conducting unofficial surveys; however, college-wide evaluations will not take place.
