About the challenge

Pyxis Hacks II is a free, virtual hackathon for middle school students being held on April 21, 2023 4pm PST - April 23, 2023 2pm PST. A hackathon is a coding competition in which participants race to come up with a technology-based solution to a real-world problem. Don't know how to code? No problem! Pyxis Hacks II will have workshops and mentors to guide you through the process of bringing your idea to life. Our hackathon aims to introduce middle school students to the world of hackathons and inspire a love for innovation while making coding easier to learn.

Middle school students will have the opportunity to learn how to make websites, code iOS apps, hear from highschool and college students studying computer science, and much more! Check out the schedule of workshops here: https://www.pyxishacks.com/schedule.
