The activities in these workshops are designed to fit the needs of people with physical, sensory or developmental disabilities. Each participant in the ages 5 – 11 workshops must be accompanied by an adult.

Learn the basic elements of ballroom, the different tempos of music, and the first steps to becoming a confident, comfortable, social dancer! Students will learn such dances as the Waltz, Foxtrot, Merengue, Rumba, Cha-cha, Tango and Swing! Partners and singles welcome. Get ready to put your dancing shoes on and remember, even Fred and Ginger started with the basics!

NEW!
Rather than the usual six-week session, we are offering two three-week sessions.  In Session I students will learn the basics of Rumba dance.  In Session II students will spend three weeks learning Cha-cha style of dance.

Footwear: Men – smooth soled shoes, such as dress shoes

Women – any non- rubber soled shoes (heels are ok, but not required)
