We first launched TaxoPress because there was a gap in the market. There were no good WordPress plugins to help you organize and categorize your content.

The only existing plugin we could find was called “Tag Groups, which had been created by a developer named Christoph Amthor. This was a really useful plugin that allows you to display and filter content based on taxonomy terms.

We talked with Christoph and he said he was ready to move on from Tag Groups. Christoph published a post with his reasons and some background details.

We have now moved the Tag Groups plugin to the TaxoPress website.

In total, the Ramble Ventures plugins now have over 1 million users.

Our team’s mission is to help WordPress publishers succeed. We believe that maintaining and improving the MetaSlider plugin will enable us to help more publishers.

MetaSlider is one of the most popular slideshow plugins for WordPress, with over 700,000 installs and a history dating back almost ten years. We view MetaSlider as a platform for us to build a suite of image tools. In addition to the main slider features, MetaSlider has a lightbox plugin and a photo gallery that’s in a “Beta” version.
